5 Between the past and the future A history of values In 1987, after a long experience as an entrepreneur in his family s industrial gas equipment business, Vittorio Bassino founded Delta P, which from the start was dedicated to the development and production of devices and equipment for the use of medical, pure and technical gases. Over the years, with the ambition to become a company of reference and meet the ever widening demands of its clients, Delta P consolidated its offering also in the plant engineering and maintenance sectors. Thanks to qualified experience, entrepreneurial dynamism and a desire for modernity on the part of the founder and his collaborators, in a few years the company gained a prominent position in the national market and reinforced its competitiveness at the international level. ori gins tradi tions

7 A story that continues Building the future Still today, future development at Delta P is based on solid principles: real knowledge of the sector, technological leadership for innovative solutions, a wide range of offerings, the excellence and quality of its products, responsibility toward the client. These are the key points for sustainable development that Delta P incorporates into its business strategy and that have allowed the company to strengthen its position abroad, where it is present in 57 countries. Today Delta P is guided by two partners Dario e Claudio Bassino who count on the collaboration of a strong and united team that shares their passion for the vocation and also embraces Quality as a value, transforming initiative and ideas into accomplishments. The headquarters in Rosate, in the province of Milan, is constituted by a production plant covering more than 3500 m 2 in all. 9 A complete range of products and services In step with the times The desire to constantly satisfy the needs of clients, thanks also to a rich and technologically advanced product offering, has always been one of the elements driving the growth and evolution of Delta P. The product lines that we design, manufacture and certify consist of devices and equipment for the use, treatment and distribution of medical, pure and technical gases. Concerning medical gas distribution systems, which fall under the authority of directive 93/42/CEE, both for design aspects and for production, Delta P offers qualified experience in a number of sectors: design and construction of new systems and expansion of existing systems for the distribution of medical gases in public and private healthcare centres (Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities); verification of the suitability of plans for the distribution of medical gases in public and private healthcare facilities (Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities); design and construction of production and storage centres for compressed medical gases and vacuums that comply with the needs of the plant and with ISO regulatory standards; design and construction of evacuation systems for anaesthetic gases that conform to current ISO regulatory standards. Delta P s highly qualified staff of technicians, engineers, consultants, and regulatory experts provides its know-how and technical consultancy, as well as responding to every request based both on their combined experience acquired previously, and also relying on the constant updating that characterises every part of the company. RELI ABI LITY Delta P is now able to satisfy at 360 every specific need of the client, in Italy and abroad, from the design and engineering phase, for specific tenders, aligning with the continuous updating of the specific standards in force, to the production and manufacturing phases, and including technical consultancy, post sales assistance and installation, while ensuring the most advanced safety requirements in each of these phases. The vehicle fleet fitted out as a mobile workshop ensures that interventions are rapid and efficient through an on-site global assistance service. Every system managed by Delta P has maintenance schedules that are constantly updated, creating a historic support database. Delta P has a presence abroad in 57 countries, where it performs its activities through a network of partners. In Italy it operates through direct management from the central headquarters to the entire territory or at the regional level through collaborations with specialised companies in the field. In addition, there is a technical and sales branch in the Veneto region. 15 Quality and certifications A top commitment Beginning from its foundation, Delta P has been committed to advancing the safety of its products along with the technological developments, capitalising on its years of experience. Aware of the importance of Quality in an increasingly competitive market, Delta P has made this one of the key elements of its activity and has obtained many certifications over the years. The Quality Management System at Delta P is ISO 9001:2008 certified by the IMQ Certification Body S.p.A. of Milan for the activities of design, production, marketing, maintenance and assistance of equipment, systems and plants, in particular for the use of medical gases, vacuums and evacuation of anaesthetic gases. Most of Delta P s products and plants fall under the 93/42/CEE Medical Devices Directive and have the CE mark pursuant to that Directive. The company s Quality Management System is also certified in accordance with ISO 13485:2003. To date, Delta P has certified and constructed more than 400 plants with the CE mark. Delta P has obtained SOA certification pursuant to D.P.R. 34/2000 for category OS3 (special works) public works of class II; striving for presence in markets worldwide, Delta P has additional certifications (for example GOST for doing business in Russia). Delta P has also CE certification for several of its products that fall under the T-PED Directive for transportable pressure equipment. The Quality and Safety Area of the company heads the Quality Management System and Company Prevention and Protection Systems. The Quality and Safety Area manages also the processes connected with testing and certification of the plants; these processes are carried out by highly trained and qualified internal personnel who are independent from the other functions that construct the plants. The procedures adopted comply with the requirements of harmonized standards ISO (plants for medical gases and vacuums), ISO (plants for the evacuation of anaesthetic gases) and ISO (medical device risk management). Thus continuous monitoring of the efficiency and efficacy of company processes represents an indispensable element that Delta P provides to its partners and clients in order to maintain the quality, safety, reliability and competitiveness of its products, with the goal of becoming one of the principal points of reference in the field of equipment for the distribution and use of gases, also at the international level.
