It was set up in 1978 as an Engineering Partnership specialising in the environment, safety and company organisation. After progressively growing in size and increasing its expertise and its network of business connections, in 1996 the partnership became a limited company and in 2005 a joint stock company. tecno habitat is able to handle work requiring considerable human and financial resources as well as extended periods of time for development because, over the years, we have built up a solid and efficient organisation model, a high level of management skill, a broad system of connections, expertise and structured resources and thorough knowledge of the market. tecno habitat can supply a high level of professional service with a well-tested approximately forty-strong technical staff including engineers, architects, chemists, biologists, geologists, technicians and estimators, and a huge network of consultants. tecno habitat operates throughout Italy and abroad. Our clients are individual companies or large industrial groups in various manufacturing sectors, in real estate and finance, foundations and banks, large-scale retail trade, commercial and service industry companies, public and private associations and consortiums, public administrations and bodies. We also work with universities and national and international bodies and institutions. tecno habitat handles each phase in the project in accordance with its clients, from beginning to end of the whole process: identification of the business opportunities, technical-economical feasibility, the financial plan, relations with banks, the permit procedure and relations at various levels with the appropriate administrations, preliminary, executive and construction planning, full completion of the work, including turnkey projects, and even maintenance and management of the finished project, if required. Engineering and territory We operate in the industry, environmental, power, territorial and infrastructure sectors and in international development projects. We plan and carry out multi-disciplinary projects requiring integration between engineering, finance and services. We handle every phase up until the final objective is achieved: technical/economical feasibility; preliminary, executive and construction planning; procedures for obtaining permits; relations with public bodies and administrations; relations with banks; image management; completion of the work itself. Industrial services We provide services for health and safety and work, protection of the environment and business management systems. Our services include basic and detailed engineering, technical and administrative assistance, consultancy on processes and products, development of innovation and research projects, performance of analyses and measurement, management of outsourcing operations, training of personnel, planning and implementation of management systems.
