4 Nærøyfjord UNESCO National Geographic magazine has voted Nærøyfjord the world s best preserved tourist destination. This beautiful branch of Sognefjord is, at its narrowest, only 25 metres wide, and with peaks rising to over 15 masl it is unique. Enjoy Nærøyfjord in a kayak or on a fjord safari in an inflatable speedboat. The Flåm Railway Norway s absolute best train ride between Aurlandsfjord at masl up to the high mountain railway station, Myrdal on the Bergen Railway (at 87 masl).
