32 UKCS Main Opportunities.. In 2010, 14 projects were approved by DECC in UK ( Jasmine, Laggan and Tormore, Athena, Devenick, Franklin West o.a. ). Total value 8,65 billion ( approx. 80 billion NOK ) This was comparable to aggregated project approvals for the period For 2011, DECC is expecting 30 projects to get approval Bergen Næringsråd

33 UKCS Main Opportunities.. Market analysis for the UKCS market indicates that in the period there will be : fixed platform installations on the UKCS FPS projects Around 30 subsea development projects Major modification and rejuvenation projects on existing platforms

The largest UK fabrication yards were mothballed and / or closed years back The 10 largest UK fabrication yards have had an aggregated capacity of around 500 million during the last 3 years which is around NOK 450 million per yard per year. Recently large fabrication contracts have been sent out of UK : 2 decks, 6000 tons each to Dragados for Jasmine, ConocoPhillips. 1 deck to yard in Dubai and 3 jackets to Rosetti Marino, Ravenna, Italy 1700 tons topside and jacket to Heerema, Vlissingen, for Clipper South operated by RWE DEA 2 jackets, 22300tons and 9000 tons respectively to Aker Verdal for Clair Ridge, BP. Topside modules most likely to Far East Drilling Module fabrication by Rosetti Marino for Auk redevelopment, Talisman 2800 tons jacket to be fabricated by Saipem at Arbatax, Sardinia for Franklin West II Source:

35 UKCS Main Opportunities.. INTSOK are organizing a Mission to Aberdeen 5 7 April 2011 to meet with Operators focussing on Drilling. INTSOK will organize a Mission to London 15th 17th June with focus on Technologies for Cleaner production. BP, GDF SUEZ and Statoil have already confirmed meetings The traditional INTSOK Mission to Aberdeen will take place November with focus upon IOR In addition, INTSOK will in co-operation with DECC in UK and UK Oil & Gas, Supply Chain Committee organize meetings in London and Aberdeen this spring with focus on fabrication capabilities and capacities Source:
