3 Forum 3000 Voic to Feature benefits With the Voic to feature, when a caller leaves a voic message in your voic box the Forum 3000 will send you an with the voice message attached so that you can listen to it wherever you are. Simply open the and click on the attachment to listen to your message! Never miss a voic when you are out of the office. Your voic messages are also stored in the Forum 3000 as well as forwarded to you address. Work Group or Departmental voic s can be forwarded to the address of the Group leader. This feature is available to every user who has a voic box. It requires system software version or later. In order to use this feature you must set up an account for the Forum 3000 and also for each of the users. The following sections describe how to do this. 1 Login to the Forum 3000 as System Administrator Plug your PC into a PC port on the BBOX and login to the Forum 3000 as system administrator by typing the IP address of the Forum 3000 into your browser: This is the default IP address of the Forum Your PC should have an IP address in the same range as the Forum 3000 (ie) XXX but different from the Forum If it does not you must change the IP address of the PC as described in the Forum 3000 user guide. If the IP address of the Forum 3000 has been changed from the default address above, you can check the current address by connecting an analogue telephone at one of the analogue telephone ports of the system and dialling **01#. The system will read out the current IP address. In the login panel type the Administrator username and password of the Forum 3000 system: Username: admin Password: 1000 DM 1056 Rev 1 07/10 3

4 The main Administrator configuration screen is displayed with a list of all of the programmable settings. 2 Set up an account for the Forum 3000 system The Forum 3000 will need an account on a mailserver. The system will send s to the users from this account. The mailserver may be an internal company mailserver on the same LAN or an external server on the Internet. The details of the account which you will need to program into the Forum 3000 are: -the mailserver address -the account username -the account password These details should be provided to you by the administrator of the mailserver. In the section IP Settings of the main page click on the link SMTP Configuration.

5 The following page is displayed: Fill in the blank fields: Server Address This is the IP address where the mailserver is located. For example, for an internal company mailserver on the LAN or relay.skynet.be for an external web based mailserver. Server Port: Most mailservers use port 25, so this is filled in by default. You may change this if your mailserver uses a different port. System address: This is the address that the Forum 3000 system will use to send s, for example, Forum3000@skynet.be User name: This is the account which is provided by the administrator of the SMTP mail. Password: This is the account Password which is provided by the administrator of the mailserver. Press Save. DM 1056 Rev 1 07/10 5

6 3 Set up the Addresses for the Users In the section IP Settings of the main page click on the link Addresses.

7 The following page is displayed: For each user, type an address in the white box. For Analogue users or Group users click in the links at the bottom right of the page. Press Save when all the addresses have been entered. Log out of the System Administrator. That is it! Voic to is now configured and users will now automatically receive all their voice messages by .
