Refrigeratrs and freezers are fully defrsted. Washers, dryers and ice makers are discnnected. Lawnmwers and similar tls have had all the gasline emptied frm their tank. An exceptin t this is riding mwers; leave enugh fuel in the tank s that it can be laded and unladed with it s wn pwer. All prpane tanks are detached frm grills. Any items attached t walls r ceilings have been remved. Q: What time will the mvers arrive and when can I expect them t leave? A: As the circumstances frm mve t mve vary, s des the start and finish times. Typically, the crew will arrive at yur residence between 8:00 9:00 am. When yur mve finishes is determined by the scpe f yur individual mve. While small mves require nly a part f the day, large mves can take up mst f the day. Keep in mind that yur mve is scheduled t be cmpleted in a given span f time. Because f this, ur crews may need t cntinue wrking later int the day t ensure these deadlines are met. Mving day can be hectic and ften, questins arise that can nly be answered by smene familiar with yur residence. Q: What shuld I d if the mvers haven t arrived by the scheduled start time? A: If fr sme reasn the crew is nt at yur residence by the scheduled start time, please cntact yur Mve It Nw mve crdinatr and infrm him/her f the prblem. They will be able t cntact the driver t determine the prblem and give yu an updated start time. Q: Are there any items that I shuld transprt myself? A: Yes. Imprtant dcuments such as wills, insurance papers, birth certificates and stck/bnd certificates. Pets Plants Firearms Stamp and cin cllectins Imprtant phts. Q: What if it rains r snws n my mve day? A: Nt a prblem. Since all f yur furniture will be prtected prir t being laded, snw r rain will nt damage it. It is imprtant that yu realize yu are respnsible fr making sure yur driveway and all walkways are clear f mud, snw, ice and ther hazards when yur crew arrives. Q: Can I cancel my mve t reschedule? A: Yes. Mve It Nw will make every effrt t reschedule yur mve. Please keep in mind that we require at least 24 hur ntice n cancellatins and reschedules.

3 PACKING Q: Can I d the packing myself? A: Yu can d as much r as little f the packing as yu like. Be sure t shw yur Mve It Nw representative exactly what yu wuld like us t pack/nt pack s that he/she can prvide yu with an accurate estimate. Please nte hwever that yu are liable fr all items packed by yu when the bx arrives at yur new residence withut visible damage. We are liable fr all items packed by us. Q: Where can I find packing materials if I want t pack myself? A: Mve It Nw carries a full line f bxes and packing supplies at cmpetitive prices. We can even deliver them t yur huse. Q: Are there any items that the packers cannt pack? A: Yes. Aersl cans such as hair spray. Flammables such as gasline, lighter fluid and prpane tanks. Perishable fds. Canned and bxed fd is OK. Paints, thinners, bleaches r ther txic and pisnus liquids. Explsives such as ammunitin, firecrackers and matches. Q: Will the packers use any f my riginal cartns when packing. A; If the riginal cartns are placed near the bjects and all f the riginal packing materials (Styrfam, cardbard cututs, etc.) are still in the bx the packers will use them. If the use f the riginal cartn requires the disassembly f any bject (pressbard furniture, large tys, etc.) the packers will nt use it. Small figurines and breakables shuld be packed in their riginal cartns and then packed in a larger bx. Q: Hw many peple will pack my items and will thse same peple lad them nt the van? A: A typical packing crew has three peple. The exact number may vary due t the scpe f yur pack jb. In mst instances, the crew that packs yur huse is

4 the same crew that lads yur belngings. Yur mve crdinatr will infrm yu ahead f time which crew will be assigned t yur packing and lading. Q: D the packers mix items frm rm t rm? A: N. The packers will pack each rm separately. Q: Hw will the bxes be labeled? A: When shwing the packers arund yur residence fr the first time, let them knw hw yu want each rm labeled. Each bx will be labeled t yur instructins. Q: Can yur mvers unpack my bxes? A: Yes. Mve It Nw mvers are happy t unpack yur belngings. Each item in the bx is unpacked and neatly placed n a nearby flat surface. The mvers can even remve the packing materials if yu wuld like. Please nte there is an additinal charge fr this. Yur Mve It Nw representative will be happy t discuss this with yu. MOVE PROCESS Q: Hw lng can I expect the mvers t take when packing, lading and unlading my belngings? A: Since husehlds vary in size, the time needed t cmplete yur mve will als vary. Apartment and small hme mves can be accmplished in as little as fur hurs. Larger hmes require mre time and can take up t tw fur days. Keep in mind that if ur packing crews will be packing yur belngings, they typically d this jb the day befre yur mve. Factrs such as lng carries, shuttles and bad weather may cause yur mve t run slightly lnger than nrmal. Once yur Mve It Nw representative has surveyed yur residence, he/she will be better prepared t answer this questin. Q: Will there be a supervisr fr my mve? A: Yes. Every crew has ne lead persn wh will intrduce himself/herself t yu upn arrival. Any cncerns yu have shuld be relayed directly t him/her.

All fabric furniture will be wrapped in yur hme prir t being laded. All wd furniture and televisins will be padded in yur hme prir t being laded. Q: Will any f my husehld gds be disassembled fr the mve? A: Items will nly be disassembled if they cannt be easily handled r wn t fit thrugh the dr. Mve It Nw will disassemble yur beds and remve mirrrs frm dressers at n additinal cst t yu. Q: Will the mvers reassemble the furniture they disassembled? A: Yes. Mve It Nw will reassemble all furniture that was disassembled at n additinal cst t yu. Q: D I need t empty the dresser drawers? A: N. As lng as the items cntained in the drawers will nt break r spill, they d nt have t be emptied. The mvers will transprt yur dressers with the drawers in them. Small, lse items shuld be placed in a baggy. The baggy can then be stred in a drawer. Q: Will the interir f my residence be prtected while the mve is ging n? A: Yes. Mve It Nw prvides prtectin fr yur carpets and hardwd and tile flrs bth at yur ld residence and new residence. In additin, we will pad stair railings and banisters. This is at n additinal cst t yu. SPECIAL ITEMS THIRD PARTY SERVICES Q: What types f items des the third party handle? A: Grandfather clcks, pl tables, washers, dryers, ice makers, ceiling fans, chandeliers, exercise machines, swing sets, jungle gyms and ther playgrund equipment t name just a few. They disassemble at rigin and reassemble at

6 destinatin. They als prvide crating services fr fragile items. Mve It Nw handles all the crdinatin f this s yu dn t have t wrry abut it. Q: Are plants allwed n the mving van? A: Yes and N. Outdr plants cannt be transprted under any circumstances. Any mve traveling interstate r requiring strage cannt cntain plants. The mving f indr plants is a curtesy Mve It Nw extends t it s custmers. Every effrt will be made t safely transprt yur plants but the final decisin is up t the crew supervisr. Please nte hwever that Mve It Nw cannt accept respnsibility fr the cnditin f any plants after the mve has been cmpleted. Mve It Nw hires nly prfessinal mvers t transprt yur husehld gds including items such as grandfather clcks, pl tables and fine art. Hwever, a third party specially trained t prepare thse items fr transprt wrks clsely with ur mvers t ensure their safe delivery. This ensures the jb is always dne prperly and allws ur crew t devte their time t the mve itself. Pint these items ut t yur Mve It Nw representative s he/she can be sure t include it in yur estimate. Q: Are my belngings insured while they are being mved? A: Yes. Included in the price is valuatin prtectin in the amunt f.60 cents per pund per article. This means that if an item weighing ne hundred punds was damaged, yu wuld receive $60.00 fr that item. Since many items are wrth mre than.60 cents per pund, Mve It Nw ffers increased prtectin at cmpetitive prices with varying deductibles. Yur Mve It Nw representative wuld be happy t discuss this in detail if yu are interested. Q: If my husehld gds are left n the mving van vernight, will they be secure? A: Abslutely. The drs n a mving van are ALWAYS lcked when nt in use. Q: If I require strage will the crew that laded my husehld gds be the same ne that delivers them?
