1 Employee Access Center (EAC) and access How to check your and log into the Employee Access Center from HOME For assistance with /log in issues, please contact the Help Desk at Susan L. Schwerer Kelly Keith

2 Your Initial Login For your initial login, you WILL be prompted to change your password. Please retain the new password you select. Your username is the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your middle name, and the first FIVE letters of your last name. Your Password is: ccp$ and your six (6) digit employee ID number. (For example: ccp$123456)

3 Username Variations If your last name has less than five letters, you will use your full last name. For example: jmfox If you have no middle name, you will use an underscore _ in place of a middle initial. For example: j_fox If your last name is hyphenated, you will not use the hyphen in your username. For example: if your name is Jane no middle name Fox-Wolf your login will be j_foxwo

4 Open your web browser. Enter the following web address into the toolbar:

5 This screen will appear You will be prompted to accept a browser security plugin, click Install when prompted.

6 Accept the User Account Control prompts you receive by clicking Yes Allow the installation of the browser plugin to complete. This may take a few minutes.

7 A pop-up box will appear requesting permission to allow pop-ups for this site. You will need to click Yes. A Security Alert box will pop-up and you will need to make the following selections and then click Trust :

8 At the Application and Network Access Portal, please type your username and password. Then click Log On

9 You will be prompted to change your password

10 Selecting a New Password Please note the complexity requirements for CCPS employee passwords. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters and cannot be the same of any of your last 10 passwords. In addition, your password must contain 3 of the following 4 types of characters: Upper Case Letter Lower Case Letter Number Special Character (@, #, $, etc ) Some examples of a complex password are: TheC@t123 Mydogisnice!!

11 Changing Your Password Current Password New Password Enter your current password. Then a new password which needs to be entered twice in the New Password and Confirm new password fields. Finally, click Save.

12 If all fields are completed successfully, you will see a success message. Click OK to be logged into CCPS Remote Access with your new password.

13 Application and Network Access Portal Click on the CCPSportal link to view the full CCPS Portal experience (with the exception of a few portal applications that are not compatible).

15 uaccept The uaccept application allows CCPS employees to electronically accept the Technology Acceptable Use Procedure and Mobile Device Acceptable Use Procedure. You will be prompted to enter the uaccept application if you have not accepted the Technology Acceptable Use Procedure.

16 Technology Acceptable Use Procedure The Technology Acceptable Use Procedure is a condition of employment with Carroll County Public Schools. You will need to electronically accept this procedure. Click the Acceptance Required button.

17 Please read the Technology Acceptable Use Procedure. After reading, scroll to the bottom and enter your employee identification number. Then, click the I accept the above procedure button.

18 Mobile Device Acceptable Use Procedure The Mobile Device Acceptable Use Procedure is a voluntary program and employees can choose to opt out. Employees who opt out may not use mobile devices on the network nor attach to CCPS with their mobile device.

19 Once you have read the Mobile Device Acceptable Use Procedure, please scroll to the bottom and enter your employee identification number. You may select I accept the above procedure or I choose NOT to accept the above procedure depending upon whether or not you would like to connect to the CCPS network with a mobile device.

20 CCPS Portal The Outlook Web Access application will provide access to your CCPS . The Employee Access Center application will provide access to your paystubs and other employee-related information.

21 Outlook Web Access (OWA) Username Password Clicking on the Outlook Web Access icon in the Portal will take you to the login screen to access your CCPS . You will need to enter your User name, Password, and then click sign in. This is the same username you entered to get into the Portal and the new password you created.

22 Employee Access Center (EAC) Clicking on the Employee Access Center icon in the Portal will take you to the login screen to access your employee information. You will need to enter your User ID, Password, and then click Login. This is the same username that you entered to get into the Portal and the new password you created.

23 Once in the Employee Access Center, your employee demographic information will appear: To view your paystubs, click on the Payroll Checks link from the left-hand menu.

24 Your list of pay checks will appear in the Payroll Check Information table: You will need to click on each blue check number to view that specific pay check. Once you click on a paycheck, the check will open in a new window.

25 Logging out of the EAC & OWA When you re finished in the EAC and OWA, please be sure to log out of each program. The Logout and Log Off links are in the upper right-hand corner of each program: Employee Access Center (EAC): Outlook Web Access (OWA):

26 Logging off the Portal To ensure security, please make sure you log off when you have finished in the Portal:

27 If you forget or lose your password, you must contact the Help Desk at to have your password re-set. Please do not call the Human Resources Department.
