Never scale drawings: Contractor shall refer to written dimensions only. All dimensions and conditions shall be verified in the field and any discrepancies reported to the architects prior to construction. In all cases the details and drawings shall be checked with existing conditions from work in place, and variations, if any, be referred to the architect for adjustment. The contractor will be held responsible for the fit of work in place. 4. All work shall be done in accordance with local codes and as indicated on drawings. DEMOLITION & CONSTRUCTION : Coordinate all work and schedule with the owner or designated agent. Protect all areas not included in the work. Any damage that occurs as a result of the work shall be repaired to a like new condition at G.C. expense. No alterations to the existing structural members are allowed unless specifically noted and approved by the owner or owner's agent in writing. All conditions and dimensions shown are for reference only and must be field verified at the site. Upon completion of demolition all conditions and dimensions are to be checked for variances. Report any discrepancies immediately to the project manager. Any unnoted existing conditions which may conflict with the proposed new work and may require modification, relocation and or removal shall be identified and reported to the architect at once. Refer to Architectural drawings for scope of new work and to confirm termination and/or removal of existing fixtures, devices and services. Any modification to existing Fire Alarm system must be approved by local Fire Marshall. Entire System shall be tested upon completion of work. Maintain and/or repair all fire rated assemblies and separations (wall, floor, ceiling, or between adjacent spaces, etc.) to maintain any fire rating as required by code. Provide and / or maintain all fire stopping as required by code. Repair any damage that occurs during demolition to any assembly scheduled to remain. KEY PLAN: ADA AFF AHJ A.S.O.
