4 Manage your Assets and Inventory Infor EAM allows you to track and manage all assets, from buildings to production equipment. It will provide you with better visibility, not only of what you have got, but about how it is performing. This visibility enables you to improve your asset utilisation, with centralised monitoring and control, ensuring maximum performance and minimum disruption. By categorising assets, describing them technically and organising them in a logical way, they can be found amongst tens-of-thousands of assets throughout a company and their costs can be properly analysed. A building can be divided into floors, into rooms and then everything in the room can be described, including the equipment, the furniture and everything else in that room. With an operational site you should be able to see the cost of a single pump, the cost of that pump within the field it belongs to, and so forth, right up to the full cost of the site in which the pump is operating. Manage your Resource Infor EAM can record working time for all employed resource (permanent, temporary & contracted in) with clarity of the work nature (wrench time, windshield time, admin time etc.). This can be further analysed to planned, corrective, breakdown, safety etc., and to specific assets, identifying where expensive resource time is spent.
