It does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and the following observed holidays: New Year s Day, artin Luther King Day, resident s Day, emorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. eriodically, the TA will operate Commuter Bus Services on reduced schedules in an effort to accommodate fewer riders when demand for these buses is significantly lower. Trips marked with S denote the Special Service Schedule. On Special Service Days, only those trips designated with the S will operate. Guaranteed Ride Home program is available for personal emergencies and unscheduled overtime. articipants must register with Commuter Connections at (800) to use this service. In the event that adverse weather conditions necessitate a change or deviation in the morning schedule, announcements will be made on radio stations WBAL (1090 A Baltimore), WAL (630 A ), and WSD (98.3 Star F). If the morning service does not operate, then the afternoon service will not operate. Should the U.S. Office of ersonnel anagement authorize an early release of federal workers due to inclement weather or miscellaneous events, the TA will determine if coaches are available to depart according to a modified schedule. Commuters should understand that the TA requires sufficient advance notice in order to mobilize coaches for early departures with individual service providers. If the early release is: Before 1:00 p.m., buses will depart at 1:00, 1:15, 1:30, 2:00(L), 2:30, 3:00, 3:30(L), 4:00, 5:10(L), and 6:05 p.m. Before 2:00 p.m., buses will depart at 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45(L), 3:00, 3:30(L), 4:00, 4:30, 5:10(L), and 6:05 p.m. After 2:00 p.m., buses will operate on their regular schedules (L) trip operates to Lotte laza The TA will generate e-notices and post announcements on the Commuter Bus Service Update online once changes in service occur. Standee olicy For the safety of our riders, the TA prohibits standees on commuter buses except under the following circumstances: If the last evening bus has a full seated load; To accommodate passengers from another bus that has become disabled en-route; or In emergency situations, such as severe inclement weather or civil defense events. lease note that a patron s need to reach his or her destination by a certain time is not considered an emergency for these purposes. Drivers are required to enforce this policy and to deny boarding to additional passengers once the bus has achieved a full seated load.
