4 Introduction System Requirements The Texture Mill is a 32 & 64 bit application and was designed to run on Windows 32/64 bits XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8, Intel Mac OS X, and Linux platforms. The plug-in has been tested with current versions of Maya and Blender The Texture Mill application is designed to run smoothly and efficiently on your computer without taking up substantial amounts of memory. The performance of the application depends on your internet connection. However, it is optimized it to run on all connection levels. Texture Mill is built with the QT framework, under the LGPL license. Using the LGPL license affords flexibility to our users. A copy of the GNU (General Public License) for QT can be found in the application's installation directory along with all other license files required by The Texture Mill. 1 Getting Started 1.1 Registration To use the Texture Mill application, you must first sign up for a membership at TextureMill.com.
