1 AVISYARD FARM Avisyard is a substantial stock rearing hill farm extending to 300 acres or thereby lying to the South East of Cumnock in Ayrshire. 2 There are good hard roadways to all parts of the farm, even to the top of the hill. Situated there are the masts serving the Police and Vodaphone. Annual rental in excess of 10,000 is generated by these installations. There is also an SRDP Wildlife Management Scheme in place. The Scheme is in the first of five years with an annual payment of around 13,000. Fences are mainly in good repair with many areas now double fenced to allow hedgerows to form. Interest from more than one wind turbine company is ongoing. The farm road from the public road to the cattle grid is the property of a neighbour.
