7 CITIBANK READY CREDIT REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. PARTICIPATION 1.1 An RC accountholder residing in Singapore whose RC account is in good standing, as determined by the bank in its sole discretion, is entitled to participate in the Program as at the date of commencement of the program or the date when an RC account is opened, whichever is the later. 1.2 If an RC accountholder terminates his RC account, any unused CitiDollars shall be automatically cancelled and no longer be available for use by the RC accountholder; such CitiDollars shall not be transferable to any other account of the accountholder. 1.3 If the main RC accountholder's RC account is terminated at any time for any reason, whether by the main RC accountholder or the bank, the main RC accountholder and the RC Companion accountholder will forthwith be disqualified from participating in the Program and all unused CitiDollars then accrued shall automatically be cancelled. 1.4 If an RC Companion Account is terminated at any time for any reason, the main RC accountholder will not be disqualified from participating in the Program. 2. ISSUANCE AND REDEMPTION OF CITIDOLLARS 2.1 CitiDollars shall be calculated on the amount of RC transactions accumulated on a monthly basis (at statement date), by reference to CitiDollars periods, rounded to the nearest CitiDollars. Any refunded RC transactions will not be accredited CitiDollars. 2.2 In determining the amount of RC transactions for purposes of calculation of CitiDollars, annual membership fees, interest, late payment charges, GST, PayLite, Balance Transfers, transactions conducted at preferential interest rate and other fees and charges shall not be taken into account provided always that the bank is entitled, in its absolute discretion, at any time and from time to time and without notice and without giving any reason, to take into account any RC transactions or charges in the calculation of CitiDollars or to otherwise vary the basis of calculation of CitiDollars. 2.3 During each CitiDollars period, the RC accountholder will receive CitiDollars based on the amount of RC transactions made during that CitiDollars period and the RC accountholder may use the CitiDollars so accrued to redeem any Reward at any time during that CitiDollars period. CitiDollars accrued in any 1 CitiDollars period shall not be carried forward to subsequent CitiDollars periods. Any CitiDollars which are not used as at the last day of a CitiDollars period shall be available for use for a further 1 month, thereupon such unused CitiDollars shall be automatically cancelled and shall not thereafter be available for use by the RC accountholder nor be reinstated. 2.4 Provided that the RC account is in good standing as determined by the bank and that there are sufficient CitiDollars, an RC accountholder may select and redeem any one or more Rewards, based on the qualifying CitiDollars amount specified in the program catalogue, during each CitiDollars period, via Citibank online, CitiPhone banking or such other redemption channel as the bank may from time to time inform the RC accountholder. The RC accountholder agrees that the use of any redemption channel will be governed by its applicable terms and conditions. RC accountholders cannot redeem their Rewards via the instant redemption channel. 2.5 The accumulation and usage of CitiDollars shall be specified in the monthly statement of RC account. CitiDollars are not transferable and not exchangeable for cash or credit. 2.6 CitiDollars earned on the RC account cannot be aggregated with other credit card accounts for purposes of redemption of Rewards. 2.7 CitiDollars earned on the RC account may only be used by the main RC accountholder and the Joint RC accountholder. The RC Companion accountholder cannot use the CitiDollars unless the RC Companion accountholder is duly authorized by the main RC accountholder and accordingly presents the Rewards bearing the signature of the main RC accountholder and the main RC accountholder s Citibank ATM/Debit Card number or NRIC/Passport number. 2.8 Approximately 7 working days should be allowed for the processing of a redemption request. However, waivers of annual membership fee have to be requested at least 1 month before such fee is due. 3. USE OF REWARDS VOUCHER 3.1 The Rewards shall be issued in the name and address of the RC accountholder, and shall specify the Reward as selected by the RC accountholder, and may be used by the RC accountholder or RC Companion accountholder. 3.2 Use of the Rewards is subject to the terms and conditions stated on the Rewards. Rewards s shall not be used to purchase any item on sale or on special offer nor used in conjunction with any discount card, loyalty program, promotional voucher or similar scheme. 3.3 To redeem a Reward, the RC accountholder must present the relevant Rewards with either his/her Citibank ATM/Debit Card or Identification Card (NRIC)/Passport at the relevant participating merchant. If the RC accountholder makes a purchase, which exceeds the value of the Rewards, the accountholder must pay cash or charge the difference to his/her Citibank Credit Card. There shall be no refund, in any form whatsoever, if the value of the goods and/or services requested is below that of the Rewards. 3.4 Multiple Rewards s per visit may be used in the redemption of any one Reward, unless otherwise stated. Where the use of more than 1 Rewards is allowed, a minimum purchase per voucher used as stipulated by the participating merchant must be met. 3.5 A Reward voucher, which has been redeemed by the RC accountholder, is neither refundable nor exchangeable for cash, CitiDollars or for another Reward. 3.6 Redemption and use of a Reward is subject to availability and to such conditions as may be specified by the participating merchants. In the event that a participating merchant is, for any reason, unable to supply the goods or services as specified in the Rewards, the participating merchant reserves the right to supply alternative products or services of similar quality or price to the RC accountholder. 3.7 The bank shall not in any way be liable for any goods or services or the quality or performance of such goods or services supplied by any participating merchant, site or service provider or other authorised agent under the program. The RC accountholder should seek redress and direct any complaints or comments in respect of such goods and services to the respective participating merchant, provider or agent. 3.8 All hotel stays are subject to availability of rooms. No walk-in will be entertained and the hotels reserve the right to impose a one-night room charge for late cancellations and no-shows. 3.9 RC accountholders will be charged accordingly for any double redemption or double usage of Citibank Rewards s.
