2 Prière / Prayer God, you have given us feet to move, and a mind to imagine and learn new things, places and people. We are in the process to get ready to live an amazing French experience in Québec city that is a real Blessing and reward for us as we ve been working hard to learn a second language. Thank you for this gift. Please help up to have all the energy it takes to make it happen through the fundraising that we will have to do as a group and as individual students. Lord, be with us. 3 Purpose of the trip To provide our students with the opportunity to explore and use the French language in a French Cultural environment. To create a desire for our students to continue their learning in the Extended French Program. (AP/IB)

4 Tentative Itinerary SATURDAY April 8, : Meet at the Calgary International Airport to register for your flight (transportation to the airport is not included) :Take off aboard XYZ flight #XYZ. 4:00 PM Quebec City 5h30 PM Visit Upper town, St Louis Gate, Château Frontenac, Dufferin Terasse, Cathedral of the Holy Trinity and more 6:30 PM Dinner at les Voûtes du Cavour, in the historic Quartier Petit Champlain. 8:00 PM Visit the Lower City with your tour leader to get an introduction to the beginnings of French civilization in North America as you visit Place Royale and le Quartier du Petit Champlain. 9:00 PM Check in to the hotel for a well-deserved night's rest. 6 Sunday April 9 th 8:30 AM Breakfast and orientation with your tour leader at the hotel. 10:30 AM Attend mass in French at L'Eglise Notre-Dame des Victoires 12:00 PM Time for lunch in Place Royale and le Quartier du Petit Champlain.Who will try some French Canadian Soul Food: Poutine? 1:30 PM Take the ferry across the St-Lawrence River for a spectacular view of the city. 2:30 PM Tour of Quebec City! See the Plains of Abraham, Parliament, Grande Allée, Château Frontenac, Quartier Petit Champlain, Place Royale and more! 4:30 PM Return to the hotel to relax and unwind before dinner. 6:00 PM Have dinner in Old Quebec, at le Côtes à Côtes Resto Grill. 7:30 PM French-Canadian legends theatre workshop. All will become actors...one will become a werewolf! 9:30 PM Return to the hotel for a well deserved night's

9 Monday, April 10 8:00 AM Departure from the hotel 8:30 AM Breakfast at Le Parlementaire : Assemblée Nationale, Quebec s parliament building. 10:00 AM Guided tour of the Citadelle de Québec. 11:30 AM Jumpstreet Fact Finding Mission in Old Québec city. 1:30 PM Meet Le Marquis de Montcalm and General Wolfe during the 1759 Battle of the Plains of Abraham at la Maison de la Découverte. 3:30 PM Tour de Martello (Experience the daily military life of a British soldier). 5:30 PM Return to the hotel to relax and unwind before dinner 7:00 PM Village Huron supper & guided visit 9:30 PM Departure for the hotel.
