His work ethic, combined with his passion for patient care and medical education have helped him ascend the ranks there and within our program to his current status: Senior Associate Chief of Medicine (Hines VA), Chief of Acute Care Medicine (Hines VA), and Associate Residency Program Director. Dr. Guay is a husband and the father of four children (twin boys and two daughters). He is a sports enthusiast (especially hockey & soccer) who also collects sports memorabilia. He is a committed family-man who enjoys spending time with family and friends.

2 Joanne Haralampopoulos, MD Medicine-Neurology Service Line, Hines, VA B.S., Loyola University Chicago, 1997 M.D. Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, 2001 Internship and Residency, Loyola University Chicago, , Loyola University Chicago, 2007 to present Dr. Haralampopoulos was born and raised in the city of Chicago and is a lifelong Cubs fan. In the recent months, she has tried (but not yet succeeded) to convince her son to also become a fan. Dr. Haralampopoulos has been associated with Loyola ever since enrolling at the Loyola University Chicago (Lake Shore Campus). She then entered medical school at Stritch School of Medicine and subsequently joined the Department of Medicine as a resident. She has spent the last five years serving the Nation's veterans as a general internist at Hines VA Hospital. In 2007 she accepted the position of for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Since that that time, Dr. Haralampopoulos' passion has been to provide a challenging and fulfilling educational experience to all our residents as they rotate through the clinics and wards of the VA. Dan Sisbarro, MD Associate Professor of Medicine B.S., Johns Hopkins University, 1990 M.D., Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, 1994 Internship and Residency, University of Chicago, Department of Internal Medicine, Director, Student Health, Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, , Loyola University Chicago, 2004 to present Dr. Sisbarro has been a primary care physician at Loyola since completing his residency in His primary area of focus has been outpatient care in the general medicine clinic. He is the director of the resident ambulatory clinic experience at Loyola and coordinates the outpatient curriculum. He is also serves as Director of the Clinical Competency Committee.

3 Laura Ozark, MD Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine B.S., University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, 1995 M.D., Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, 2000 Internship and Residency, Loyola University Medical Center, Resident Clinic Attending, Loyola University, 2006-present, Loyola University Chicago, 2007 to present Dr. Ozark is the responsible for managing the resident advising program, planning the "Friday School" curriculum, running the resident stimulation training, and organizing the PGY 1,2, and 3 retreats. She also assists residents in board examination preparation. She enjoys teaching medical students and residents and is a member of the Clinical Competency Committee. Dr. Ozark has been at Loyola since graduating from medical school. In addition to her role as an, she is also a supervising attending for a resident continuity clinic at Loyola and works the evening and overnight shifts in the emergency department at Hines VA Hospital. She enjoys being a resource for woman physicians who are striving to find a balance between medicine and family obligations. Dr. Ozark and her husband, Greg (also on faculty at Loyola), enjoy spending time with their two children, Allison (16) and Matthew (12), and their shepherd, Tika (6) and traveling to Disney World every chance they get! 4 Dr. Gee first joined the staff at Lakeside VA Hospital affiliated with Northwestern University-McGaw Medical Center after completing his residency training. He transferred to Hines VA Medical Center in 2007 and joined the faculty at Loyola where he is able to combine his devotion in caring for veterans with his love for teaching residents and medical students. He became for the Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2012 and helps coordinate the weekly Autopsy Conference given by second year residents at Hines VA. Dr. Gee is a husband and father of three girls. In his off time, he enjoys cooking, playing the piano, and being an avid jazz listener. Melissa Bussey, MD Division of Rheumatology B.S., University of Wisconsin - Madison, 2004 M.D., Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, 2008 Internship and Residency, Loyola University Medical Center, Chief Residency, Loyola University Medical Center, Fellowship, Rheumatology, Loyola University Medical Center, , Loyola University Chicago, 2014-Present Clerkship Director for the Sub-I Wards beginning 2016 Academic year Dr. Bussey was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and was excited to return to the area after college to attend Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine. She then stayed at Loyola to complete her Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency, and Rheumatology Fellowship training. She devotes much of her time as associate program director to recruiting efforts along with helping oversee the research curriculum. She particularly enjoys curriculum development and teaching and is especially interested in helping our residents successfully prepare for the ABIM exam. She also loves teaching medical students and also serves as the Clerkship Director for the fourth year medical student sub-internship wards rotation.
