ORDNANCE O AS AMENDED ON SECOND READNG ON MAY 29, 2012 AN ORDNANCE APPROPRATNG THE NECESSARY FUNDS FOR THE OPERATON OF THE GOVERNMENT AND ADMNSTRATON OF THE CTY OF SALSBURY, MARYLAND FOR THE PEROD JULY 1, 2012 TO JUNE 30, 2013, ESTABLSHNG THE LEVY FOR THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE SAME FSCAL PEROD AND ESTABLSHNG THE APPROPRATON :FOR THE WATER AND SEWER, PARKNG AUTHORTY AND CTY MARNA FUNDS. 2 1) The tax levy be, and the same be hereby set, at $ per$ 100 of assessed valuaton of all real property, and at $ per$ 00 of assessed valuaton for all personal property, subject to taxaton by the Cty of Salsbury for General Fund purposes, ncludng debt servce purposes ( exclusve of revenues derved from the Water and Sewer Fund for debt servce purposes attrbuted to water and sewer actvtes); and 2) All taxes leved by ths ordnance shall be lens from and after July l, 2012 and shall be due and payable as specfed n Ttle 14 of the Tax Property artcle of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended; 3) That all fees adopted by ths ordnance and all other fees currently n effect shall reman so unless changed at a future date by the Salsbury Cty Councl. AND BE T FURTHER ORDANED by the Salsbury Cty Councl that these summary amounts shall be spent under the lmtatons of the attached lst heren known as the FY13 Budget tems Adjusted by Councl Correcton( Exhbt A) whether the amounts are added, deleted, reduced or ncreased. AND BE T FURTHER ORDANED by the Salsbury Cty Councl that, should any provson, secton, paragraph or subparagraph of ths budget ordnance, ncludng any Code or text adopted hereby, be declared null and vod, llegal, unconsttutonal or otherwse determned to be unenforceable by a Court havng competent jursdcton, the same sha11 not affect the valdty, legalty, or enforceablty of any other provson, secton, paragraph or subparagrapn hereof, ncludng any Code or text adopted hereby, wth each such' provson, secton, paragraph or subparagraph expressly declared to be, and s deemed, severable. AND BE T FURTHER ORDANED by the Salsbury Cty Counel that a publc hearng on the proposed budget ordnance was held at 6: 05 PM on May 14th, 2012 n Room 301 of the Cty/County Government Offce Buldng, 125 N. Dvson Street, Salsbury, Maryland. AND BE T FURTHER ORDANED by the Salsbury Cty Councl that ths Ordnance shall take effect upon fnal passage.
