Geospatial Workforce Readiness Scorecard (2004) The scorecard is a tool which enables organizations to examine specific business variables which help ensure successful implementation of the GTCM (Geospatial Technology Competency Model ), a human resource development tool designed for the geospatial marketplace. 2
3 Geospatial Online Professional Assessment Tool (2002) The GTCM provides the foundation and data for the Geospatial Professional Online Assessment Tool (GOPAT ). The software tool automates career development assessment and performance management. GOPAT is available as a selfassessment or can be used by an employer to determine an individual s key role(s) of interest or practice for the industry or to evaluate job performance. Geospatial Technology Competency Model (2000) The Geospatial Technology Competency Model (GTCM ) identifies the required roles, competencies, and outputs for the geospatial industry. The tool helps human resources managers find and retain geospatial professionals who have job-specific competencies.
