1 Special points of interest: New Board members were elected in the month of May 2014 Two distinguished members of AACEI Gulf Section have been elected at corporate level قسم الخليج العربي - Section Arabian Gulf Newsletter New AGS Board Officers were elected for year In the month of May 2014, in Carlton Mobied Hotel Board members were met to elect. the new executive committee Elections were conducted and new President, Vice President, VP -Technical, administration, and regional affairs were elected. Further, nominations and Volume #1 issue 1 Volume 1, Issue 1 selection of Directors and other s positions were nominated. The list of new Board members and steering committee members is indicated on page2 &3 Past President and current RD-7 AACE Intl Board, Mr. Mohammad Rafiuddin, PSP, PMP, PMI-RMP, CCP, M.Eng, advises to new board to continue with the same zeal and enthusiasm to promote cost engineering and train young graduates the knowledge and wisdom of total cost management. AACE-AGS has participated in midyear assembly of PICE-EPSA AACE-AGS has participated in midyear assembly of PICE-EPSA held on 20 June 2014 in Dhahran International Hotel, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Giese, Vice President Administration have attended as speakers on the behalf of the AACE-AGS and delivered a presentation on AACE-AGS objectives, goals and activities (from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM). Organization AACE-AGS Membership Target Ahmed K. Al-Mulhim, PSP, CCP, CEP, EVP Director Membership has vowed that AACE-AGS will increase its membership to appropriately reflect the size of the local cost management community and has pledged to increase membership by 10% by Jun 2015 by conducting awareness sessions in the local private Companies (Owners and Contractors) as local governmental agencies and schools.
