Diploma in Civil Engineering preferable first class with three years relevant experience. 2. Junior Engineer (Civil) 3. Pharmacist or equivalent with Science Stream 2. Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an Institution of the Central/State Govt. or an institution recognised by the Central or State Govt. 3. Should be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

2 4. Junior Engineer (Civil) on contract 5. Yoga Instructor on contract Diploma in Civil Engineering preferable first class with three years relevant experience. 1. Essential Qualifications: (a) Three year Bachelor s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute. (b) Two years Post Graduation Degree in Yoga from a recognized University or Institute (c) Minimum 05 years experience in imparting yoga training to the students/staff of any recognized University or Institute of higher learning. He/She should have practical knowledge and able to perform all types of Yoga asana. 2. Desirable Qualifications : a) Two years Yoga teaching experience to the students of any recognized (Central Govt. or State Govt. or UGC approved) Educational Institutions. b) Experience of being a Trainer/Coach of a team of students representing the University/ College in the Inter-University competitions or the State in National Championship in Yoga. c) Good working knowledge of Hindi and English. 6. Junior Lab Assistant on contract Age limit can be relaxed in case of very experienced candidates. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent or Three year s duration Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of computer applications. General Instructions to the Candidates 1. The candidates are required to apply through ONLINE only. Preference will be given to Persons with Disabilities, even where the reservation is not marked and suitable PwDs applicants are available.

3 5. The candidates should send a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee payable at Roorkee towards the Application Fee. No fee is required from IIT Roorkee, Roorkee employees, SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities candidates. 6. The application received after expiry of last date will not be entertained and Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. 7. Institute reserves the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the posts or cancel the advertisement in whole or partly without assigning any reason. The Institute will also reserve the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for written test/interview. Fulfilment of essential qualifications per-se does not entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview. The decision of the Institute in this regard will be final. 8.
