Administrative Medical Officer (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 6600/-) (i) MBBS (ii) MHA (2 years regular programme) from a recognized university (iii) 3 years experience in Hospital Administration in a reputed hospital. 2. Technician CSSD (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 1900/-) No. of vacancy 3 (Three) (i) ITI Certificate in Instrument Mechanics or Medical Electronics (2 years course) (ii) 2 years experience in sterilization work in a hospital having minimum 100 beds. 3. Radiotherapy Technologist (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 4200/-) (Those who have applied for the post of Radiographer vide Notification No.2662/Admn.IV/2012/RCC dated 10/04/2012 will have to reapply in view of the change in qualification. But they need not remit the application fee of Rs.750/-. Age limit for such candidates will be as per notification dated 10/04/2012). No. of vacancy 3 (Three) (60% of the posts will be reserved for candidates with BSc. MRT qualification and 40% of posts for BSc. DRT candidates who have undergone Training and Safety Certification Course conducted by BARC). Qualification B.Sc. MRT from a recognized Institution as approved by AERB or Equivalent qualification as approved by AERB. 2

(iii) One year post qualified experience in the specialty. (iv) Training and Safety Certification Course conducted by BARC Desirable: Knowledge in Computer Operation 4. Radiation Technologist - (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 4200/-) (Those who have applied for the post of Radiographer vide Notification No.2662/Admn.IV/2012/RCC dated 10/04/2012 will have to reapply in view of the change in qualification. MRT from a recognized Institution as approved by AERB or equivalent qualification as approved by AERB (i) Degree in Science (ii) Pass in Certified Radiological Assistants Course/ Diploma in Radiological Technician Course (2 years duration) from Medical College or its equivalent. (iii) One year post qualified experience in the specialty. 5. Assistant Dietician (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 4200/-) MSc. (Nutrition/Dietetics) with 60% marks Desirable: (i) 1 year experience in the job (ii) Knowledge in computer operation 6. Physiotherapist - (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 4200/-) 3

3 ..3.. (i) First class Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution (ii) 3 yrs. experience in the job in a multi-specialty hospital with minimum 100 beds. 7. Operation Theatre Technician (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 2400/-) No. of vacancy 2 (Two) (i) SSLC (ii) 5 years experience as OT Technician in a major hospital Diploma in Operation Room Assistants CI/CII course Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) from a recognized institution. 8. Pharmacist (Pay Band ` Grade Pay ` 2400/-) Qualification& Experience (i) Pass in Pre-degree/Plus two or equivalent. (ii) Diploma in Pharmacy conducted by the State Govt. or Central Board of Education (iii) Pharmacy Council Registration (iv) Six months paid experience in the Pharmacy/Store of a major hospital 9. Cytotechnologist (Pay Band Rs Grade Pay Rs.4800/-) (The applicant so selected will be posted in RCC or in any of its peripheral Centres) (Those who have applied as per notification No.2662/Admn.IV/2013/RCC dated 25/11/2013 need not apply now. Age limit for such candidates will be as per notification dated 25/11/2013). Essential i. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology with experience in Cytology for one year. B.Sc. (Chemistry, Zoology or Botany as main or subsidiary subject) recognized by the Kerala University with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and experience in Cytology for one year. 4

4 ..4.. M.Sc. (Botany/Zoology/Life Science) I or II Class with experience in Cytology for 6 months. ii. Pass in Cytotechnologist course from Regional Cancer Centre Indian Academy of Cytologists (IAC) recognized Cytotechnologists Course. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. The applicants should satisfy the eligibility criteria as on the date of notification in all respects. 2. Age Limit Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01/01/2015. Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC and Ex-service men. 3. Application form To be downloaded by the applicant from the website ( 4. Mode of payment Demand Draft drawn in favour of THE DIRECT, REGIONAL CANCER CENTRE', payable at SBT, Medical College Branch, Thiruvananthapuram or any of its service branches at Thiruvananthapuram. * The fee paid by the candidates will not be refunded under any circumstance. 6. Selection On the basis of Written Test. If the applications received in a particular category is less than 15, then written examination shall be dispensed with and the selection will be by way of an interview. 7. Important Note Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification. RCC will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transmission/transit of application. Any attempt to influence the Centre directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidate. 5

5 ..5.. Candidate's admission to the Test is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his/her candidature has been finally accepted by RCC. In case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will be cancelled. Application of those candidates who do not possess the qualification/ prescribed experience as on the date of notification will summarily be rejected. Communal rotation as followed by the Kerala Public Service Commission will be observed in the selection. Filled in and signed application form affixing recent passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the Demand Draft (Original) should reach The Director, Regional Cancer Centre, Medical College P.O., Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala, India by Registered/ Speed Post only latest by 3.30 p.m. on 30/09/2015.
