Another one of my primary responsibilities involves working with community agencies like Marquette County Health Department, Family Independence Agency, Marquette General Hospital, Pathways, etc. DIRECTOR OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION EDUCATION Director for Upper Peninsula-wide program to promote affective education skills among school age children. Main job responsibilities involve teacher and administrator in-service trainings, grant writing, budget and general administrative duties. Also, facilitator for Lighthouse School Dissemination Project from for Marquette and Alger Counties. Responsible for assigning local school districts in adopting state and national programs that work. This was part of the National Diffusion Network (NDN). REGIONAL 21 SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION EDUCATION PROGRAM March 1974 April, 1976 As Curriculum Coordinator for Region 21 Substance Abuse Prevention Education Program, my main responsibilities were to provide in-service training for school districts throughout the Upper Peninsula. Also, seven graduate classes were taught per year. The classes were inter-institutional and credits could be granted from Michigan State University or. TEACHER/COORDINATOR April, 1972 June, 1974 The School, Inc. Lansing, Michigan The school was an alternative junior and senior high school. My responsibilities were the teaching of social studies, physical education, interpersonal skill development, and counseling. Also, I was responsible for fund raising and had the general administrative responsibilities of a principal.
