My experience far exceeded my expectations. I feel I have had a true taste of what it is like to be a student in America and I was lucky enough to see a lot of the country as well. This exchange has been one of the best things I have ever done. It has challenged me, but by overcoming the hard parts I feel more confident in myself. I have realised how big the world really is and the amazing opportunities out there and I think now I want to do more with my life than before. I have met people from all around the world, heard languages and cultures that I never knew anything about. It has made me realise how lucky I am to be a New Zealander but at the same time made me realise how small it is here. I have learnt about travelling, and now know I can get on a plane and go to a foreign country and live by myself, which are skills that will highly benefit me in the future. I met so many wonderful people and saw and did exciting things, and I hope more people will benefit from this great programme PROSPECTUS MASSEY UNIVERSITY
