No horizontal rotation THE PHOTON CAN BE USED IN TRADITIONAL STATIC AND STOP AND GO MODE, AND CAN BE MOUNTED HEAD UP FOR TUNNEL TOP SURVEYING Dinamic survey of roughness IRI (International Roughness Index) IDS Georadar Accuracy and specs The 2 Ghz IDS Georadar system located at cm. from the pavement, allows to analyze the asphalt and pavement layers. The Post processing software includes funtions for: Evaluation of base and sub base status; Verification of new asphalt wearing course, base and sub. base; Course Identification of deeper layers; Reduction of severe hazard points of runways. Position IXSEA LANDINS < 20 cm. during 90% of survey Frequency of position acquisition = 1000 Hz Relative accuracy of stereo photogrammetry: <10 cm. Faro PHOTON Laser scanner : rotations per second (20 50 cm. distance between 2 scan lines, depending on vehicle speed) Vertical field of view: 320 Number of point per cross section: Distance between points on the pavement 5 6 mm. 6 Georeferenced point clouds Faro Scene Application Link to Google Earth Kml GoogleSR203_146.kml Automatic detection of markings and pavement width The detection of markings is obtained from the reflectance gradient between asphalt and white lines The carriageway width detection is more complex, due to continuity between pavement and natural ground The real surface of pavement is a key issue to evaluate the infrastructure asset (an error of 10 cm. on a 10 km. road gives a wrong estimate of 1000 sqm.) 6
