As many of you know, the FAA and industry have been engaged for the last two years in revising regulations relating to aircraft operations on contaminated runways and runway condition reporting. Alaska Airlines Chet Collett will discuss the results of pilot tests that were conducted this winter and how these tests might affect your airport. Chet Collett, Manager-Flight Standards Alaska Airlines IMPLEMENTING ADVANCED IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES AT PASSENGER SCREENING CHECKPOINTS Tim Hudson will discuss the planning, architectural, and engineering considerations associated with installing advanced imaging technologies otherwise known as whole-body imaging at existing passenger screening checkpoints. Many of the standards Transport Canada has prescribed for Canadian airports are derived from ICAO standards and in the U.S., the FAA has been working more and more closely with ICAO to ensure that U.S. and ICAO standards are harmonized. Learn from ACI World staff how ACI is involved in ICAO activities and how ICAO s work may affect your airport.
