2 Instructions Counting cards You can use these cards for many purposes. Spread them out on the floor, call out a number and have your child jump on them or throw a bean bag on them, hide them around the room. Use them to count manipulatives to place on the card etc. Find the missing number! Look at the numbers written on the card. Find the star numbers that are missing from each card and place them in the correct place. Super letters Write lower case letters on some counters. Match the counters to the correct upper case letters on the game board. You could also use this as an assessment tool. Tic, Tac, Toe Take turns placing a piece down. The first player to get 3 in a row (up, down or diagonally) wins! Scissor skills Cut on the lines to get to the hero. Count it Count the pictures on the cards and find the correct matching number to put in the square. Alphabet match Cut the cards along the line. Have your child match the upper case letter to the lower case letter. Roll and cover Print as many game boards as you need and a spinner. You will need to make the actual spinner part If you don t have a game board spinner you can borrow, use a split pin and a paper clip. Each time you spin the spinner add or take away the correct amount of manipulatives on your board (you could use counters, M&M s, mini marshmallows etc). The first person to completely cover all of the spaces is the winner! Alphabet writing practice Use a dry erase marker or crayons to trace the letters. Number writing practice Use a dry erase marker or crayons to trace the numbers.

3 Size sorting mat Put the pictures in size order according to the mat (small, medium and large). Pre-writing Trace the lines from the farmer to the barn. Color by number Follow the number code written on the paper to color in the superhero picture. Shapes Cut the shape words off the shape picture card. Have your little one match the words to the correct picture. If your little one is not ready to read the word yet, use these cards like 3 part cards )print 2 sets have one set as a master copy and cut the words off the other set. Use the master copy to help match the words to the correct picture.) Puzzles Cut apart the superhero puzzles. Have your child put them together again. You could also miz them up to make funny superheroes. Patterns Cut and laminate all the pieces. Continue the patterns and then create your own! Name writing Have your child practice writing their name on the lined card. Size sort Put the pictures in size order (biggest to smallest and smallest to biggest). Counting mat Place a number on the board and count the correct number of superheroes that are needed to save the city. Letter sort Cut and laminate the pieces. Have your child sort the letter S and other letters using the work mat. Play-dough mat Make the letters S and V out of play dough and put them on the mat. See if your child can make a superhero and a villain out of play dough. Magnet page Cover the circles with magnets or counters.
