3 Monkey Multiplication Maker Multiply by 2, 4, 6 and 8 A game for 2 players Use markers to cover the numbers. Players take turns to cover the numbers to make a multiplication equation covering one circle from each set, e.g. a player could cover 3, 8 and 24 for 3 x 8 = 24. Once a circle is covered it can t be used again. The winner is the last person to make an equation x 2 6 =
4 Elephant Multiplication Maker Multiply by 3, 5, 7, 9 A game for 2 players Use markers to cover the numbers. Players take turns to cover the numbers to make a multiplication equation covering one circle from each set on a turn, e.g. a player could cover 5, 7 and 35 for 5 x 7 = 35. Once a circle is covered it can t be used again. The winner is the last person to make an equation x 9 =
5 a game for 2 players Need: Frog and Snake Cards, a set of TTT cards One player uses the frog cards and one player uses the snake cards. Choose the set of TTT fact cards to be used for the game. Shuffle the cards and make a pile with the cards face down. The first player picks up the top card and reads the fact to the other player. (without reading the answer) If the player answers correctly, they can put a snake card or frog card on the board. If they don t answer correctly they can t put a card on the board. Cards are returned to the bottom of the pile after each turn. Players continue taking turns to read a fact to the other player. The other player answers the fact and adds a card to the board when they are correct. Players try to make a line of 3 of their cards going horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The player who does this is the winner.

The player then finds the circle with this number and covers the large number with one of their markers, e.g. roll 4 and 5, = 9, 9 x 2=18. If that number is covered by one of the other player s markers, you can bump that marker off and put one of your markers on it. If that number is already covered by one of your markers, you can add another marker on top and then it is yours and the other player can t bump you off. The game ends when all numbers have been covered. The winner is the one who has covered the most numbers with 2 markers.

25 CLIMB THE VINE RACE a game for 2 4 players Lay the cards face down. Each player puts a marker on a monkey. Every player picks a card and works out the answer. The player with the largest answer moves their marker one space up the vine. If 2 players have the same largest answer, both move one space. The cards are returned to the others and mixed up. Repeat until one player reaches the top of the vine. Select the cards to use for Climb the Vine Set 1 - x 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or Set 2 - x 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or combine both sets.

30 Jungle Pathways Game 1 Multiples of 1-6 Practice Multiples of Numbers from 1-6 START a game for 2-4 players Need: Markers, 1 dice Each player puts a marker on the START. Players take turns to roll the dice and move across or down to any number that is a multiple of the number on the dice, e.g. if a player throws 4, they could move to 8, 12, 16, 20 etc. Players work their way to the FINISH, moving vertically or horizontally on each turn but not diagonally. When a player cannot move to a multiple, they stay on that space. First player to reach the finish is the winner FINISH
31 a game for 2-4 players START Need: Markers, 2 dice Each player puts a marker on the START. 32 Take 2 and Multiply a game for 2 players Each player chooses an animal. Place the number cards face down on the table. To play the game each player chooses two number cards and places them into the first 2 boxes in their equation and then calculates the answer. The player with the highest answer takes a marker to score one point. For example If Player 1 chooses 5 and 8 and Player 2 chooses 6 and 4, Player 1 would take a marker as 5 x 8 = 40 and 6 x 4 = 24.
