Future leaders programme Our future leaders programme equips Orbit managers and directors with the skills to manage teams, partnerships and services and meet the challenges ahead, to secure our 2020 vision: Building communities by working together to improve the social, economic and environmental prospects of people and communities. The programme is facilitated by the Orbit Academy team, supported by a range of internal and external partners. If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader John Quincy Adams Programme objectives The future leaders programme: Sets out what we expect from our leaders and how they enable Orbit to transform, deliver its business plans and sustain its success. Provides managers at all levels with 21st century leadership skills to help us achieve its 2020 vision. 3 Programme design The future leaders programme offers a varied, insightful, thought-provoking and high-impact experience to help managers apply new knowledge and skills in the workplace. It includes: The best and latest thinking on leadership Outcomes for managing people, performance, change and talent,underpinned by key themes of commercial approach, culture of achievement, coaching, engagement, innovation and emotional intelligence Outside in bringing in people from outside to challenge and add value to our thinking Inside out look at outside organisations to share experiences and learning.
