2 SCOR Processes The Supply Chai Operatios Referece (SCOR ) model describes the busiess activities associated with all phases of satisfyig a customer s demad. The model itself is orgaized aroud the six primary maagemet processes of Pla, Source, Make, Deliver, Retur ad Eable. Usig these process buildig blocks, the SCOR model ca be used to describe supply chais that are very simple or very complex usig a commo set of defiitios across disparate idustries. Today public ad private orgaizatios ad compaies aroud the world use the model as a foudatio for global ad site-specific supply chai improvemet projects. SCOR spas all customer iteractios (quote to cash), all physical material trasactios (procure to paymet, icludig equipmet, supplies, spare parts, bulk product, software, etc.) ad all market iteractios (maufacturig, from the uderstadig of aggregate demad to the fulfillmet of each order). The model is desiged ad maitaied to support supply chais of various complexities ad across multiple idustries. The model focuses o three process levels ad does ot attempt to prescribe how a particular orgaizatio should coduct its busiess or tailor its systems or iformatio flow. People Supply Chai Skills The people sectio itroduced i SCOR 10.0 provides a meas for maagig talet i the supply chai by icorporatig a stadard for describig the expertise required to perform tasks ad maage processes. The SCOR skills maagemet complemets the existig process, metrics, ad practice referece compoets by aligig people ad their skills to the processes. A Skill i SCOR is the capacity to deliver predetermied results with miimal iput of time ad eergy, characterized by a stadard defiitio with associated experiece, aptitudes, ad traiig. Experiece is the kowledge or ability acquired by observatio or active participatio, obtaied by doig the work i a real life eviromet, ad udergoig differet situatios that require differet actios. Aptitude is a atural, acquired, leared, or developed ability to perform a certai kid of work at a certai level. Traiig develops a skill or type of behavior through istructio. All people skills are coded with a capital letter H followed by a capital letter represetig the elemet: S for Skills, A for Aptitudes, E for Experiece ad T for Traiig. These are followed by a period ad a four digit umber. Note: The umber i the ID is a uique idetifier ad does NOT idicate ay kid of priority, importace, or other meaig.

SCOR idetifies five core supply chai performace attributes: Reliability, Resposiveess, Agility, Costs, ad Asset Maagemet.
