9 Typical Lesson How ACE Works Two hours (i.e. 3:30-5:30 immediately after school) 5 minute homework overview/icebreaker 15 minute discussion about a discipline/review activity minute hands-on activity/student presentation Pizza break! Lead Mentor Responsibility Per Lesson Plan the lesson for your assigned weeks (2-3 a year) Supply the resources/materials and people for the activity

12 The Final Design Project Request for Proposal The assignment is given to the students in the form of a RFP Mentor volunteers to work as a task force to develop Introduce to Students Introduce RFP to students after they return from Christmas Break Mentoring sessions throughout the year should be tied in some way to the project Reinforce project components at every lesson Student Organization Each class teams together as a company, they will develop company names, logos, mission statements Operate as construction project team How it Works
