1 Membership has Rewards CREW MEMBERSHIPS CREW offers various types of memberships, Cornerstone, Full, Associate, Student and Affiliate. Full and Associate have the same membership criteria, with the only difference being the length of continuous experience in commercial real estate. CREW membership is available to those presently employed in commercial real estate in one of the disciplines outlined below or a student studying a related field. Cornerstone: Annual Dues: $1700, Individual Sponsor Full Member: 5 or more Years of Continuous Experience Annual Dues: $495 Associate Member: Less than 5 years of Continuous Experience Annual Dues: $275 Primary Discipline (80% of membership) Student Member: Full-time enrollment Annual Dues: $95 ($185 for graduate student) Affiliate Member: Annual Dues: $2000 Accounting (real estate corporate, finance, CPAs with real estate concentration); Acquisitions/dispositions; Administration (senior level managerial with executive authority working in-house with a commercial real estate company,); Appraisal (appraisal services, property tax consulting, and valuation consulting primarily for real estate clients); Architecture (space planning, tenant improvements, land use design and planning, ground-up commercial); Asset management (including also risk management professionals in house at commercial real estate companies); Brokerage (project leasing, tenant representation/site selection, investment sales, buyer representation); Commercial lending (banking, institutional/life insurance company lending, CMBS lending); Construction (general contracting); Corporate real estate; Development; Engineering (civil, construction, environmental, geotechnical, MEP, structural); Continued... Professional Development & Education CREW s Lunch and Learn Series provides industry information on a variety of topics in a casual, small group setting over lunch. AdvanceMent is a structured business development program where CREW members working on similar product types meet monthly to share industry information and form a solid networking group. 6 JUMP IN COMMITTEE OVERVIEWS provides many services and programs to its members and through outreach to students and the community at large. The Committees listed here are the tools by which these services and programs are executed. Public Relations is responsible for all public relations, marketing and advertising for both and CREW in the Community. Duties include establishing an annual marketing plan, coordination and planning of all ads in local media, administration and content management of the website and quarterly e- newsletter, maintaining and promoting CREW members on the CREW Speaker s Bureau and production of all collateral materials. Committee Chair: Amy Stanfield (amy.stanfield@prudential.com) Member Services is responsible for planning and executing the member benefit programs for the year. Traditionally this has included the social networking events (fashion show, wine tasting, etc.), professional development seminars, and a member-only dine-around. This committee is also responsible for the AdvanceMent, a targeted business development and mentoring program and the SMU/CREW Leadership Series. Committee Chair: Liz Allen-Knight (lallenknigt@bbgres.com) Programs is responsible for planning and executing the monthly luncheon meetings. Duties include arranging for the facility, food and beverage selection, speakers or program for each meeting, inclusion of CREW business on the agenda, distribution of name tags, check-in and all other duties required to make each lunch meeting a valuable experience for members and guests. Committee Chair: Karen Hart (karenh@bellnunnally.com) Sponsorship is responsible for soliciting sponsors and donors for and CREW in the Community. Duties include review, analysis and structuring of the sponsorship packages, selling the sponsorship packages, coordinating sponsors recognition, communicating with sponsors throughout the year to assess and assure value and sending appropriate thank you and follow up communications. Committee Chair: Rosemary Fusaro (rfusaro@liberycapitalbank.com) New Member Recruiting is responsible for encouraging new applications for membership, finding sponsors when needed for applicants, contacting references, processing new member applications and making recommendations to the CREW board for approval of member applications. This committee also hosts new member orientation events and encourages new members to join committees and become actively involved in CREW. Committee Chair: Elizabeth Allen (eallen@weitzmangroup.com) UCREW/University Outreach is responsible for planning and executing the UCREW program which includes holding career panel discussions at universities, providing a half day of shadowing an established professional for students, Meghan Spencer (Meghan.spencer@nexbank.com) and Andrea Liang (aliang@kystn.com) Golf Classic committee is responsible for all duties, other than sponsorship, to plan and execute the annual Classic golf tournament, the organization s primary charitable fundraiser.
