1 KUMail-Storage Service User Manual URL: Login with your SPS-ID and password Online storage construction package Proself Ver.4 You can share files with someone over the Internet. 2 Create folder of you KUMail-Storage User Manual.ver.4 Usage rate is displayed. Click Create Folder. Enter a folder name and click Make. You can select "Language" on left bars "User Setting. Japanese, English and Chinese are available. Upload file of you 1 Double click the box of the folder to which you are going to upload a file. 2The upload screen will pop up when clicking Upload. -2-

3 Switch for upload mode KUMail-Storage User Manual.ver.4 You can upload a file in two different ways with switch for upload mode. Normal upload You can upload files one by one.(please use this mode if you are used to the groupware. ) You can upload 5files, up to 2Gbyte at once. Normal upload Switch Click Refer to select files and Upload. D&D (Drag and Drop) This mode is convenient to upload many files at once. You need to install Java or to use the latest browser when you use this mode. Please click Run to run the application. D&D Click Run. -3-

4 How to upload your file onto Web Server KUMail-Storage User Manual.ver.4 1Double Click the box of the file you are going to upload onto Web Server The error message will appear if you forget to click the box. Please return to a previous screen and click the box then. When you use authentication, a receiver will log in with One-time Password issued by entering the receiver s address. Please uncheck the box if you don t want to use it. 2Click Web Publication. Web Publication Password must be at least 8 characters and include more than 3 kinds of half size capital and small letters, numeric and sign characters. Moreover, you need to inform Web Publication Password by yourself. (Not automatically informed) Please uncheck the box if you don t want to use it. Please check the box and enter the address of user to whom you want to send files if you want to limit it. If you don t check, all users who you sent the URL can access it. 3Click Create and Web Publication will be open. *4 ways of setting a password to upload your file onto Web Server Setting and Security Level No Setting Low High Web Publication Password authentication Web Publication Password + authentication Sender operation Inform a URL of file to receiver Inform a URL of file and Web Publication Password Inform a URL of file by Inform a URL of file and Web Publication Password Receiver operation Access to the URL of file and download it Access to the URL of file and download the file by entering Web Publication Password Access to the URL and get One-time Password by entering receiver s address. Method1 (You need to set a mailer like Outlook or Thunderbird.) Enter the address of receiver and send an after clicking this icon. -6-

7 〇 How to get the files by Receiver (1) How to get the files by Receiver using #1 method without Web Publication Password 1When not using authentication You can access to the file when clicking a URL informed by *You can log in and access to the file by only this operation. 2When using authentication (Only One-time Password authentication) You can see the following screen after accessing a URL informed by . Enter the address that received the URL and click Get Password (One-time Password). You can see the following screen which says The password was transmitted by . Please enter into the input column under a screen the password indicated to . You can receive and download files after submitting the password. -7-

8 (2) How to get the files by Receiver using #2 method with Web Publication Password 1When not using authentication You can see the following screen after accessing a URL informed by . Please enter Web Publication Password informed by . *You can log in and access to the file by only this operation. 2When using authentication You can see the following screen after clicking Enter. (Please refer to the instruction(1)-2 above-mentioned as follows.) Enter the address that received the URL and click Get Password (One-time Password). You can see the following screen which says The password was transmitted by . Please enter into the input column under a screen the password indicated to . You can receive and download files after submitting the password. -8-

9 Make the specified Delivery Folder from the others You can receive files that the others created. Please create a Delivery Folder in advance. Designation of Delivery Folder 1 Check the box of a folder that you want to use as Delivery Folder. 2Click Delivery Folder When you use authentication, a receiver will log in with One-time Password issued by entering the receiver s address. Please uncheck the box if you don t want to use it. You can set Limit of upload, Publication Expiry Date, Web Publication Password and so on. One-time Password is going to be issued every time you access the URL if you don t set Web Publication Password. Web Publication Password must be at least 8 characters and include more than 3 kinds of half size capital and small letters, numeric and sign characters. Moreover, you need to inform Web Publication Password by yourself. (Not automatically informed) Please uncheck the box if you don t want to use it. Click Create to create Delivery Folder. Other users can upload files after accessing the URL of Delivery Folder. You can confirm the URL in Detail of the folder. -9-

12 〇 How to upload file to Delivery Folder You can access the delivery folder in the same way as the page 7 and 8. (1) Without Web Publication Password 1 When not using authentication Access to a URL of the folder and upload a file 2 When using authentication Access to a URL and get One-time Password by entering receiver s address. Then you can upload a file after logging in with the password. (2) With Web Publication Password 1 When not using authentication Access to a URL of the folder and upload a file by entering Web Publication Password. 2 When using authentication Access to a URL of the folder and enter Web Publication Password. Then get One-time Password by entering receiver s address and upload a file. Upload screen will pop up when you click Upload. Click Select File and check the box of the folder to which you are going to upload a file and then click Upload. (You can upload a file by D&D(Drag and Drop). Please refer to the page 3 to switch upload mode.) Please close the browser after the processing end. (Ref1) Mail address List 1 Select アドレス 帳 2 Then push 追 加 button. 13 (Ref2) Synchronize between your PC and the Server It is recommended for user who frequently use this service to synchronize in the folders between client PC and the server. First, you should install the Application into your PC. 1 Select クライアントダウンロード 2Click ダウンロード to get proselfclient.exe. -13-

14 3When you click proselfclient.exe, the Proselfclient InstallShield Wizard is executes. Complete the installation based on guidance. -14-

15 Next, you should setup the application installed. 4After clicking ダウンロード in the クライア ント 設 定 ファイルダウンロード, the setting file of fsv.iimc.kyoto-u.ac.jp is downloaded. Thus, you should double click it. 5The setting conditions are imported into Proself Client. -15-

16 6Please confirm to be created the fsv.iimc.kyoto-u.ac.jp in Proself Client. 7When you double click the fsv.iimc.kyoto-u.ac.jp, your SPS-ID and password are required. -16-

17 8These file holders are synchronized with those in KUMail storage servers. Also, the shortcut of fsv.iimc.kyoto-u.ac.jp on desktop is helpful to frequently use the service. -17-
