1 GRADE 6 EXAMINATION DEMARCATION
2 GRADE 6 EXAM TIME TABLE JUNE 2015 Background June Examination 2015: CAPS Content for all subjects: Learners will be examined on work covered in Term 1 & 2. Mathematics: Two Question Papers Paper 1: See demarcation. Paper 2: See demarcation. Languages: Question Papers: Language: Prepared and unprepared application of language structures within context (text based) Spelling: Prepared and unprepared spelling applications Comprehension: Unprepared (There were test runs during the term). Writing: Unprepared (There were test runs during the term). Other outcomes (Speaking, listening and reading) are assessed during the term. Practical subjects: Life Skills (Only theory is tested during the exam period). Art gr 4-6 (not writing exam only practical). Grade 7 only theory in exam. The practical aspects are assessed during the term. IT: These subjects are not assessed during the examination. Please note: s final mark will be calculated using the continuous assessment marks from only as well as the June examination marks. s marks will not affect the marks gained in but will be included in Term 4 s marks. This applies to all subjects. Every subject s exam paper has a different weighting towards the final mark as stipulated by CAPS. The examination is just another form of assessment and not there to trick learners.
