UK hosting provider, Netwise opened its new 1, sq m data centre located close to Bermondsey Underground Station. Telehouse launched its plans for a new 11 storey building with 23, sq m of gross area. The new facility, North Two will be available in the first quarter of 216. Interxion has announced that McMillan Williams Solicitors has implemented its business critical infrastructure at Interxion s City of London data centre campus. IBM has announced the opening of its first cloud data centre with SoftLayer in Germany, located in Frankfurt. Zenium Data Centres has announced that it has completed the conversion of a former Imtech facility to its own specification and has now opened the data centre, branded Frankfurt One. Host Virtual has opened a new facility located at the Interxion campus in Frankfurt. Interxion announced that it will construct its tenth data centre within its Frankfurt campus (FRA1), providing 4,8 sq m of equipped space. FDC Servers launches a new facility in Amsterdam. The Dutch government has opened a new facility in Rijswijk joining existing facilities in Groningen, Amsterdam and Apeldoorn. A new industry grouping covering the datacentre industry has been formed in the Netherlands - the Dutch Datacenter Association (DDA). Kroll Ontrack has announced the opening of its new Paris data centre. CGI signed an agreement to provide its IT services to Groupe UEM.
