5 IT S THE HARDWARE THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE The heart of our fleet management solution is the onboard hardware, the Trackunit ME301 and ME401. We develop and manufacture the hardware solutions ourselves which gives us a unique insight into the system possibillities and enables us to offer our customers specific customization options, after sales support and system maintenance services. A truly global solution Each quad-band hardware unit operates through the GSM/GPRS networks and has a SIM card installed from our factory. Crossborder data costs are included in the Trackunit licence fee and our various SIM-card providers help us provide a truly global telematics solution that meets the diverse challenges of companies worldwide. User identification and access control Our hardware is resistant to moisture and dust, has integrated an tennas, accelerometer and includes external sensor connec tivity options. Hardware systems with e.g. ibutton, RFID or pin-code packages for user identification and access control are field proven and meet the requirements of especially rental and contracting companies.
