Because the Vodafone GPRS network can transmit much more data than just vehicle positions, Isotrak has been able to offer fleet owners information from engine management sensors, including data about vehicle speed, temperature, fuel consumption and carbon emissions, which they can use to track improvements in maintenance and sustainability. M2M helps Zenith Hygeine cut CO2 emissions by 28% Zenith Hygiene Group, a cleaning and hygiene specialist, is avoiding almost 600 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year with TomTom fleet management, supported by our M2M services. Zenith s 597-tonne saving equates to a 28% reduction in CO2 emissions across its 61-strong lorry fleet. Zenith is saving more than 200,000 per year in fuel, and a further 50,000 in maintenance meaning M2M is producing full ROI in just three months.
