6 Are You Ready to Play? Rogue Community College is looking for dedicated student athletes who want to extend their athletic careers to the college level. The RCC Ospreys compete in cross country and soccer for both men and women in the Southern Division of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). RCC OSPREYS National data collected by the NCAA consistently shows that college athletes graduate at a higher rate (62 percent as opposed to 59 percent) than other students, and that many companies prefer to hire student athletes because they have developed the ability to set goals, stick to a training program, and achieve results. 10 Degrees, certificates and programs Associate degrees Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) For students planning to complete an associate s degree before transferring into a baccalaureate program at Oregon public universities. Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Career and technical programs lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree. Associate of General Studies (AGS) Allows students to complete a degree tailored to the general education and academic major requirements of a transfer college or university. Associate of Science (AS) For students transferring to a four-year degree program in applied studies. Associate of Science/Oregon Transfer Business Allows business majors to fulfill general education requirements for transfer to an Oregon public university. Associate of Science/Oregon Transfer Computer Science Allows computer science majors to fulfill general education requirements for transfer to an Oregon public university. Certificates Career Pathways, less than one-year, and one- and two-year certificate of completion programs prepare students for entry-level jobs in a variety of occupations.
