2 Conference Theme The aim of this conference is to bring together researchers from academia and professionals from construction industry spanning the real estate sector, infrastructure and facilities management sectors as well as project management consultancies under one roof to share their experiences. The conference will provide a platform for a healthy interchange of ideas relating to current practices in the industry and research in advanced construction management. Conference Tracks Research Paper Presentations Panel Discussions Expert Speak Paper Presentations Authors are invited to submit their original unpublished manuscripts that demonstrate the current research in various branches of construction management. Papers can be either in the form of original research, case study or a perspective paper. Few indicative topics are listed below: Building Information Modelling Green Construction Management Advanced Technology in Construction Construction Equipment Analysis Construction Robotics and Construction Automation Information Technology for Construction New Production and Business Models in Construction Productivity Improvement Construction Safety Ethical Issues in Engineering and Construction Regulatory Control Energy Infrastructure Facilities and Asset Management Construction Materials Contracting for Mega Projects Information to Authors The authors have to submit their abstracts in MS-Word document with the following format: Format: Times New Roman, 12 point font size and 1.5 spacing. Abstract page should include: Title of the paper, Name(s) of author(s), affiliation and address. Abstract: should not exceed 300 words. Full length Research paper is limited up to 8 pages (A4 size). Panel Discussions These are designed to generate ideas about the solutions to the current problems and challenges faced by the Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Project (CRIP) companies. The panels will have invited experts from the industry and academics who will deliberate upon a given topic for one hour in a stimulating intellectual environment. The panel discussions will be conducted in the forenoon each day at am.

3 Day 1 Topic: Human Resource Challenges in Construction Sector Day 2 Topic: Ensuring Timely Delivery of Projects Expert Speak: These are 15 minute talks delivered by invited experts in the relevant subject area by virtue of their academic knowledge or industry experience. Ten talks are planned in the afternoon session on each day of the conference.
