4 Our speciality When our company was founded, the primary objective was to meet the quality demands of the automotive industry with modern machinery as well as to provide the widest possible range of related services. The company s current profile is partly connected to the automotive industry, including the design and production of tools required for the cooling, heating, turbo and fuel systems of passenger and cargo motor vehicles. We ensured high-quality performance in terms of this complex activity by creating an organizational structure consisting of four business lines. 6 Carpentry, model building plant Relying on our partner s, Wendt Modellbau GmbH s experience in industrial modelling of over 150 years, the highly-trained experts of our carpentry and model construction plant build checking, marking and assembly jigs and models based on the 3D designs of automotive manufacturers. The checking jigs are made of aluminum, plastic and wood. We use a coordinate measuring machine (Stiefelmayer) for controlling them. In 2011, we procured a high-precision CNC coordinate measuring machine (Wenzel) enabling us to deliver the tools in a 100% controlled and logged manner, upon request from automotive customers. The new measuring machine also allows for the measurement of serial pieces. In 2010, we enhanced our services with the production of pallets, stocks, packing materials and with the piece or serial production of furniture. 8 Tool production plant Our tool production plant uses acid-resistant materials to manufacture vulcanizing tools, which can be used for producing large series of shaped rubber hoses. Our staff consists of certified MIG and TIG welders, who can prepare any kind of unusual, even amorphous shapes. In addition, our services include the production of metal structures for the construction sector and for other industries. 10 Cutting plant Our cutting plant allows for the small- and large-scale serial production. In addition to the milling machines and multi-purpose lathes, the new CNC machine and machining center purchased in 2008 and 2009, respectively, allow for performing complex, high-precision machining services. In order to satisfy the increasing number of orders, we purchased another high-performance CNC machine in 2010, another machining center in 2011, and a CNC lathe with a maximum turning height of 2000 mm. In 2014, we procured additional machines again: a wire cut EDM and a surface grinder. This increased capacity allows for fulfilling the machine-cutting demands of existing and potential customers. 12 Special-purpose machine production plant Our special-purpose machine production plant conducts the design and manufacturing of semi-automatic and automatic as well as hand-controlled assembly jigs. With the help of these machines, our customers are able to achieve the necessary joining precision and the desired efficiency. The automatic and semi-automatic machines are PLC-controlled, programming is conducted according to customer's needs, so any intervention of the staff can be monitored, regulated, displayed visually and controlled centrally by the customers. Measuring room We ensure the perfect accuracy of our makes, models and jigs with our high-precision measuring machines located in a special measuring room.
