12 TIP: choosing your market TIP: If you wish to trade a particular market during the day (e.g. for daytrading) then choose the Market labelled Rolling Daily. However, if you Wish to hold a position overnight (e.g. for swing Trading or long term positions) then it is better and more cost-effective to choose the Futures. The Futures are labelled like Gold Dec Fut.

14 Pending Orders & Amending Your Orders You can AMEND or CANCEL Your pending orders here. Click this tab Order Book to See your pending orders (e.g. Stop-loss, profit targets).

15 Placing a New Trade For placing a trade, either Choose the tab TRADE or ORDER next to the market You wish to trade TIP: If you re day-trading and need to place A trade very fast, then choose TRADE. However, if you wish to set a trade so that It gets triggered at a certain price level, Then choose ORDER. This is more appropriate for swing trading.

16 Placing a Trade Click The TRADE button A small window (or order ticket) Appears on the screen. You can use this to trade but I Recommend that you Click on the ADVANCED button to Set Your stop-loss and targets.

17 When you click ADVANCED, then a larger window appears. Here you can set your position size ( Quantity ), manage your risk by setting a stop-loss ( Stop ) and bet a target if you wish ( Limit ).

18 You can then EXECUTE the trade By clicking either the BLUE button To Buy ( go long ) or click the RED button to sell short ( go short ).

19 If you wish to set a pending order so That your trade only gets triggered At a certain price level, then click the ORDER button. Then on the Right hand window choose the price Level you wish to enter ( Level ) and as always set your stop-loss and Target levels as well. This is more Ideal for overnight positions and Gives you more control over your Entry and exits.

20 Closing your trade You can close your position quickly By clicking the CLOSE button Next to your trade on the Open Positions tab

21 Closing only PART of your trade If you only wish to close PART of Your trade (a partial exit) then you Just click on the up-down arrows to choose how much of your position You wish to close. For example, You can do this for taking half profits.

22 Setting Price Alerts You can set an a price alert so that you Are alerted by either a sound, message or by , when a certain price Level has been reached.
