The 20% reservaton of vacances on preferental allotment to Persons Studed n Taml Medum (PSTM) wll apply f ths recrutment.. (Canddates clamng ths reservaton should have studed the prescrbed qualfcaton f the post n Taml Medum and should have the certfcate f the same. 73 4. n the Government Order fourth read above, the Government have dered that a Hgh Level Commttee was consttuted under the Charmanshp of Chef Secretary to mont the mplementaton of 3% reservaton f the Dfferently Abled Persons n all Government jobs. 5. n the letter ffth read above, the Prncpal Secretary/ State Commssoner f the Dfferently Abled has stated that as per Persons wth Dsabltes (Equal Opptuntes, Protecton of Rghts and Full partcpaton) Act 1995, Sec 32 approprate Government shall, a) dentfy posts n the establshments whch can be reserved f the Persons wth Dsabltes. b) at perodcal ntervals not exceedng three years, revew the lst of posts dentfed and update the lst takng nto consderaton the developments n technology. 6. Further, he has stated that posts n Secretarat and posts n the Boards/ Undertakng were not dentfed. Snce Government of nda has dentfed even Cvl Servces as sutable f Dfferently Abled Persons, several Wrt Pettons are beng fled by Dfferently Abled Persons n the Hon ble Hgh Court of Madras aganst Taml Nadu Publc Servce Commsson notfcaton n Group A & B posts by demandng 3% reservaton f Dfferently Abled Persons. The Chef Secretary to Government has also nstructed durng the montng meetng on to dentfy me number of posts sutable f Dfferently Abled Persons. 7. Subsequently, the Prncpal Secretary/State Commssoner f the Dfferently Abled was requested to dentfy most sutable posts from out of the posts already dentfed n consultaton wth concerned Heads of the Department. n hs letter ffth read above, the State Commssoner f the Dfferently Abled has furnshed a fnalzed lst of 170 posts most sutable f the dfferently abled persons under A and B groups wth the help of Expert Commttee. 8. After careful examnaton of hs proposal of the Prncpal Secretary/ State Commssoner f the Dfferently Abled, the Government approve the lst of 170 posts dentfed under group A &B categes under the purvew of Taml Nadu Publc Servce Commsson f the Persons wth Dsabltes. The Government also drect that 3% of the vacances n drect recrutment f the dentfed posts of A and B groups, where the rule of reservaton s applcable f the SCs / STs, BCs and other communtes, shall be reserved f the dfferently abled persons. f only one post s avalable f recrutment n these categes, the usual procedure f recrutment wll be followed. n so far as Executve posts are concerned the ndvdual shall produce a certfcate of physcal ftness from the Medcal Board to the effect that ther handcap wll not affect the perfmance of the job to whch he/she has been selected, befe appontment.
