(Ms.) No.145, Personnel and Admnstratve Refms (S) Departmen t, dated , and G.O.(Ms.)No.40 Personnel and Admnstratve Refms(S) Department dated the Government have ssued ders to fll up 20% of all vacances n Drect Recrutment on preferental bass to persons who studed the prescrbed qualfcaton n Taml Medum. The 20% reservaton of vacances on preferental allotment to Persons Studed n Taml Medum (PSTM) wll apply f ths recrutment.. (Canddates clamng ths reservaton should have studed the prescrbed qualfcaton f the post n Taml Medum and should have the certfcate f the same. Havng wrtten the examnatons n Taml language alone wll not qualfy f clamng ths reservaton). f the canddates wth PSTM are not avalable f selecton f appontment aganst reserved turn such turn shall be flled up by Non-PSTM canddates but belongng to the respectve communal categy. PROCEDURE OF SELECTON :- The selecton wll be made n three successve stages vz., () Prelmnary Examnaton f selecton of canddates f admsson to the Man Wrtten Examnaton () Man Wrtten Examnaton and () an Oral Test n the shape of an ntervew. The Prelmnary Examnaton s meant to serve as a screenng test only. The marks obtaned n the Prelmnary Examnaton by the canddates who are declared qualfed f admsson to the Man Wrtten Examnaton wll not be counted f determnng ther fnal der of mert. The number of canddates to be admtted to the Man Wrtten Examnaton wll be 10 tmes the number of canddates to be recruted havng regard to the rule of reservaton of appontments. However, n each reservaton group, all the canddates who secure the same marks as that of cut off marks of ther reservaton groups shall also be admtted to the Man Wrtten Examnaton, though the number of canddates to be admtted to the Man Wrtten Examnaton may exceed 1:10 rato.
