After ths servce many patents can return to a healthy mouth condton and qualfy for a routne prophy. Ths servce s a perodontal servce and would be classfed as a general servce on your plan. That would be covered at an 80% beneft

6 Scalng & Root Plannng Patents dagnosed wth actve perodontal dsease cannot beneft from a healthy mouth cleanng because they requre treatment above and below the gum lne. These patents would requre Scalng & Root plannng whch s a non surgcal treatment that removes buld-up, smoothes out exposed root surfaces and ncludes the applcaton of localzed antbotcs. Ths procedure often takes several vsts to complete and ongong perodontal mantenance s requred at regular nterval. Ths servce s a perodontal servce and would be classfed as a general servce on your plan. That would be covered at an 80% beneft.
