3 mirna Processing in human Drosha cleaves hairpin liberating a ~60 bp hairpin (pre- mirna) Pre-miRNA is exported to the cytoplasm In the cytoplasm, Dicer cleaves liberating a 22 nucleotide RNA duplex with 2 bp 3 overhangs.
