2 The roots of the company go back to 1981 when it began life as Kennewick Computer Company and sold Atari computers. Computer sales and service remained the primary focus of the company for several years, until the need for a better point of sale system lead the company in a new direction. Not satisfied with the products available at the time, company management decided to create their own custom POS solution. When other merchants expressed interest in the software, the decision was made to form POSitive Software Company as a division that would concentrate on the development and marketing of the new point of sale product. Our first commercial product was POSitive Retailer, released in Six years later we launched POSitive for Windows and our first e-commerce solution, Account Wizard. In 2004 we introduced AveraCharge, our own integrated credit card processing solution was the year POSitive Retail Manager (PRM) and POSitive Commerce deuted. In addition to improvements to PRM and POSitive Commerce, 2008 saw the release of POSitive GEM - Green Enterprise Management. Finally, in 2009 POSitive released POSitive Retail Manager SE, a low-cost, entry-level version of PRM, and collaborated with Coloseum Software on the development and sale of AIMI estore.

You have full control over your web store. You don't have to know anything about web site hosting. We'll build a professional looking web site for you. Then, by using POSitive retail software, one-click moves the inventory you choose from your store to the web. One more click, and you're retrieving orders directly from your web site into POSitive retail software. Very simple, very easy to use! POSitiveCommerce seamlessly integrates with POSitive Retail Manager, POSitive For Windows and Avera- Sell point-of-sale software. You control which of your inventory items get posted to the internet through the same program that runs your store. And you don't have to know anything about how to program a web site to do it! 4 AveraCharge is POSitive Software s in-house credit card processing division. POSitive s point of sale software products have credit card processing capability through AveraCharge already built-in, so if your customers meet a few requirements, setting them up with a merchant account can be fast and easy. Your customers will need a broadband internet connection*, along with a credit card (mag-stripe) reader. If they want to accept debit cards they ll also need a encrypted PINpad, which you can order from POSitive Software. Dealers receive 100 POSitive Points for each referral that signs-up for our service. Qualified Partners will be eligible for monthly residual payments of up to 30% of the monthly processing fees POSitive receives from each merchant account referred by the Partner. Higher residual levels may be offered to Partners who have referred an exceptional number of merchant accounts to AveraCharge. You may also offer the AveraCharge service to non-positive users. Any business using point of sale software that is compatible with PCCharge or ICVerify can be signed up for an Averacharge merchant account. You can also use stand-alone terminals such as models from Verifone. *The AveraCharge feature built into POSitive point of sale products requires a broadband internet connection. If this kind of service is not available at your customer s location, you must use a product that supports a dial-up connection through a modem, such as PCCharge or ICVerify. You also have the option of using a stand-alone terminal that connected to a standard telephone line.
