4 TET AR-GE PROJE PAZARI Greetings, Istanbul Electrical-Electronics, Machinery and Exporters Association (Turkish Electro Technology TET) is proud to organize the second TET R&D Project Brokerage event, a forerunner in the field of electronics and. Aiming to foster innovative ideas and innovation, the TET R&D Project Brokerage event, also known as the Project Spring, is organized to bring added value to our exports and to make it sustainable, to support innovative projects and improve university-industry cooperation.
5 TET AR-GE PROJE PAZARI Announced this year with the slogan Ideas are Blooming, TET R&D Project brokerage event received around 250 project applications in 6 categories and 76 projects were selected to be exhibited. Bringing together industrialists, universities, representatives of R&D organizations, techno-parks and researchers, the event features the following categories: Informatics and Communication Technologies (ICT) Applications, Nanotechnology Applications, Mechatronics Applications (MEMS), Applications related to Energy Production, Transmission and Distribution, Environmental and Energy Efficiency Applications and Other Applications. The fact that we have received more interest this year gives us hope for the future of our industry. This year, the TET R&D Project Brokerage event has become international as a result of the cooperation with Michigan State University and EUREKA, formed by 18 countries including Turkey and the EU and which has supported thousands of R&D projects since its inception. We also have participating projects from USA and Europe. Istanbul Electrical-Electronics, Machinery and Exporters Association (Turkish Electro Technology TET) aims to contribute 45 billion dollars to the 500 billion-dollar export target of our country in R&D and innovation will play an important role in reaching this objective. We are determined to attain our goal of rendering our exports sustainable and serving the technological transformation of our country. We support coordinated efforts between the private sector and the Turkish Exporters Council and other public bodies. We continue to strive to achieve success in the area of sustainable exports. Current systems do not meet the need for correctly determining the CTSP code because of lack of specialized personnel since it is only specialized persons that can carry out this procedure. The system we plan to develop will easily identify CTSP codes for the goods that users are concerned with. 12B-AKPKG M6-Electronic Support System for Protecting Victims of Violence ÖZLEM KOZANKURT M6 transmits locational information through the help of GPS satellites to servers over the GSM line. Additionally, it performs the functions of sending voice messages, locational information and S.O.S. messages by SMS. XTAKIP M6 is a mobile tracking device with more developed functions. It is a device that provides solutions for personnel tracking (cargo, container), etc. without the need for an external cable connection. 12B-ANVRJ Laser Beam Violin For The Hearing Impaired YURDAER AYDIN With colored laser beams parallel to the strings on the violin, this is a musical instrument that provides both the hearing impaired and healthy people to visualize music through musical note reflectors. The system is capable of detecting alerting sounds in real time and warns the user by means of vibration and written text on a wearable device such as a watch. The warnings differ according to the type of sound detected. Examples of detected sounds are car horns, door bells, fire alarms, sirens and babies crying. Labels with information about the place the person is situated have been produced with this objective in mind so that the visually impaired individual may hold the label up to a telephone and listen to the audio version of the information. The method provides the visually impaired the opportunity to easily shop, ride on a bus, travel and go about his/her daily routine. 12B-PWYNS Blood Vessel Palm Reading System TUNCAY L MAN With the Blood Vessel Reading system, one of the latest biometric systems that is used in many fields around the world, this method uses a person's biometric data for different purposes such as checking personnel attendance, individual controls, control of devices or equipment, and in the automotive sector, and the objective is to make the use of this system more widespread and reduce margins of error in all systems by providing an individualized control capability. 12B-QXAJO BGD Cad LKER KAVAK There are 6 countries that manufacture software for 3-dimensional computer-aided design. Thanks to BGD CAD, Turkey is now among these countries. Every year, a couple of million dollars is spent solely on CAD/CAM software and this spending goes directly out of the country. The project involves the application of an integrated thermal solar collector designed to be used as a compatible structural element in today's modern architectural structures and multi-story buildings where composite and/or double-shell facade covering materials is used. The collector allows the use of sunlit areas on facades and is aesthetically integrated with architectural facade solutions. 12C-QKZSE Umbrella With a Fan TAHS N ÇELEB In outdoor places like cafés, restaurants and hotel gardens, large umbrellas are used to protect customers from the rays of the sun. These umbrellas do not however meet the need of the customer to cool down in very hot and muggy weather. The umbrella I have designed aims to make use of solar energy to cool the air and make customers more comfortable, and also to light up the environment with LED lights built in under the umbrella when night falls.

In summer, the weather temperatures can reach to extreme values that can be risky for human body. People with health problems, those who have to work outside and older people might suffer from dehydration and discomfort. Cool Jacket can be used to alleviate the damage caused by hot environments for such people. 12C-TGZHU C Not More or Less, But Just The Right Amount BARAN MURAT DA New regulations are being adopted for the use of groundwater in agricultural production in Turkey, particularly in the Central Anatolian Region, which is at risk of becoming desert land. In accordance with these laws and regulations, producers will not be able to use groundwater free of charge but will have to pay for the amount of water they use. Most of these producers, however, are not knowledgeable enough or equipped with the technology to calculate the amount of water needed in plant production. This project targets the design of an illumination control system that will keep the amount of light in a space fixed at the desired level. 12C-YESOJ Hybrid Refrigertors AAM SH UMAR The aim of this project is to save energy (electricity) consumed for cooling and refrigeration in houses, groceries, deep freezers, and all those places which need cooling, during winters and all throughout the year in cold countries, like turkey. 12C-YGIRI Producing Energy in Asynchronous Motors HAKAN YILDIRIM In 1- and 3-phase asynchronous induction motors in commerce and industry that are in continuous operation at fixed speed, creating motors and equipment that spend 5%-25% less active network-generated energy, depending upon the compatibility of the motor with the mechanic structure, without changing the speed of the motor, and by optimizing iron and copper magnetization losses of the motor.
