4 ITS Issues and Considerations Differences between ITS and IT: ITS is an element of the overall IT Master Plan, which focuses on airport access and circulation ITS does not have the same business implications as IT: ITS is a set of management tools for landside and related operations, but is not a business by itself No leasing opportunities with ITS elements ITS does not necessarily generate new revenues Communications with external transportation agencies should be considered due to the nature of a patron s trip What information/controls will PDX share?
