Wines 5 Supervised doctoral students who served as the school counselors in the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC), Spring of Recruitment for the Department during the SACES 2012 Conference in Savannah, Georgia and the Graduate School Fair Writing proposals for ELITE Fellowships to collaborate with students in the area of research, teaching, and service, Summer Conducted site-visits for students registered in a practicum/internship courses. Students were observed working with their clients, and discussions were held with site supervisors to elicit community partnerships with agencies and schools. Trained and served as a companion volunteer at Harris County Psychiatric Center where rapport was established with psychiatric patients, assisted with recreational activities, and participated in group sessions with on-site psychologists.
