4 ! Highest Priority! Send It gets worse Jess, 9.30 am I ve just called the CEO of Fluffy Clouds. He said the videos are now all over the web so I can t see how an injunction would help. It gets worse he admitted that they were looking into it and also said that there is an anonymous tweet from some activist on Twitter threatening to reveal the names and addresses of all the subscribers to our late night service (about 500 last time I checked). God knows how he s got hold of these but I ve told Fluffy Clouds that if they don t sort it out pronto we ll be coming down on them like a ton of bricks. Think he got the message. Where do we go from here? Do we need to report this to anyone? This is our service and if this gets out I want everyone to know we re doing everything we possibly can.

5 Contract sanity check Jess 9.55 am Now that the crisis is over, s asking lots of questions about our relationship with Fluffy Cloud. I know the deal s a good one because I helped negotiate it, but he s really coming down hard to know precisely what some of these clauses actually mean. 6 Exit strategy? Jess, am We ve got to get ourselves out of this and start looking to the future. There s no way I want to be associated with Fluffy Clouds for a moment longer than is necessary. We need to get rid of them and get someone decent in to sort out the website. Let s do it properly though. The last thing I want is them causing us any legal trouble, so can you please prepare an update for the board on how best to terminate the contract and what we can do to minimise any risk for us. 7 Strictly Confidential I don t need to remind you to keep this to yourself am I ve just had a call in. It turns out that Ben didn t put that Fluffy Clouds contract to tender at all, his brother-in-law is the commercial director there. I don t know whether or not Bradley was in on it, but the timing of Ben s new BMW is pretty suspect. Ben has misled the board on this one, and we obviously need to do something about this. Was our board meeting even valid? Does this mean we can get out of the Fluffy Clouds contract? What should we do about Ben and Bradley? Get back to me as soon as you can.

8 Ben Jess am The board has reached a decision Ben must go as soon as possible. It s clear he has at best been sloppy and at worst defrauded the company. We want him out, and quickly. In any case we should seize the opportunity as we could do with some new blood on the IT side and he has, as you know, a very expensive final salary pension scheme if he goes that is the last of the old guard out. I don t want to mess about with any disciplinary shenanigans - but nor do we think we owe him any money. See if you can persuade him that resigning is his best option...

9 ! Highest Priority! Send It s war am Jess The more I think about the Fluffy Clouds situation, the more hacked off I am. These people have seriously let us down, and seeing the stuff on YouTube last night was the final straw. I don t ever want to work with these guys again and I think we should now be letting slip the dogs of war. Of course you re the legal eagle and I ll wait for your advice, but it seems to me that as well as terminating this contract, we should be suing them for every penny. Please prepare a presentation for the next board meeting on what we have to do to go to war, including how much it will cost.
