5 4 5 Tender management TENDER In our competitive world there is an increasing need to diligently assess subcontractors and their qualification to support demanding engineering and procurement contracts. This is not limited only to the offshore, oil and gas industries, but it is where structured bidding processes are a standard, demanding detailed project shipping solutions. 7 6 7 Transport engineering Transportation engineering is a continuously developing field in project shipping. Heavier loads, larger structures, more complex logistics and, focused risk management requiring the simulation of intelligent loading scenarios, the development of improved lifting methods and design of effective stowage solutions. BBC Chartering s project division provides an experienced team with the willingness to increase knowledge on the most challenging maritime transport assignments. TRANSPORT BBC Chartering has successfully supported offshore oil & gas projects in Western Australia, West Africa, and Brazil e.g. by transporting and feeding umbilicals, flowlines, modules and coated pipes. BBC Chartering s project division supports offshore project logistics for the wind and renewable energy sector in the North Sea, moving heavy foundation structures, transition pieces, and wind turbines.
