9 MARITIME LINK PROJECT: Delivery Nexans Norway will design, supply and install a 200kV, 500 MW (250 MW per pole) DC interconnector system across the Cabot Strait between Cape Ray NF and Point Aconi NS. Sites and activities The Project Management, Engineering, g, Procurement and Manufacturing follow up is performed in Norway with the cables and associated components produced in our plants in Norway and Japan The Cape Ray and Point Aconi land Sites will be prepared and onshore cable with associated components will be installed, including transition joints to the subsea cable system The subsea cables will be transported to, installed and protected across the Cabot Strait using Nexans purpose built Cable lay vessel and trenching unit in combination with other vessels CS NEXANS SKAGERRAK: CAPJET TRENCHING UNIT:

HOW TO BE QUALIFIED AS AN APPROVED NEXANS SUPPLIER Evaluation of your Company Nexans suppliers is requested to make available through a standard suppliers qualification questioner, detailed information regarding: g Supplier entity products and services Formal financial status Quality systems and performance Health & Safety systems and performance Environment management systems and performance Evaluation will be done based on submitted information, supported by audits as required, prior to acknowledging the supplier as qualified. 18 SUPPLIERS CSR CHARTER PROJECT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR DIVERSITY We support local economic benefits for the Maritime Link project and are committed to all diversity targets established by NSPML. As such, we will submit a diversity plan for work related to the Maritime Link Project that will occur in NS and NL. We and any of our subcontractors will provide the following: Opportunities for workers to self identify as part of an underrepresented group Post tjobs and invite it applicants from NS and NL Ensure employees attend project orientation Any and all complaints of harassment/ discrimination will be investigated immediately The Supplier CSR Charter will be amendet to include these Maritime Link project specific requirements.
