Park Avenue Nursing & Rehabilitation Center was founded in 1953, also by Nino, with 31 beds. A few years later, Nino s sons, Joseph and Nicholas, succeeded him. They opened the current building in 1972 as an 80-bed long-term care center and, for a time, they even delivered meals to Arlington s shut-in seniors. After the brothers retired in 1996, Joseph s son, John, returned to run Park Avenue and continue the Alessandroni family tradition of providing top quality care and services. Today, Park Avenue welcomes 89 residents and employs 135 professionals. We re very proud of our long history of caring for the residents of Arlington and the nearby communities, from generation to generation.
